Yeah, that's not a bigoted and out-dated stereotype at all.

It's not bigoted when it's said by another gay

I don't believe in the "Oh, I'm gay so I have the right to say it" bull****. It's either offensive or it's not.

It's a lazy stereotype that does more harm than good, and as a gay guy myself, I have no respect for other gay guys who go around knowingly perpetuating it.

My point was that it's pretty rich for a woman who's knowingly slept with cheating men in the past to now make a public, self-righteous judgement on someone for allegedly cheating. It's quite ridiculous that she's saying "tut tut" when she's willingly been a part of someone's cheating herself.

But, on the subject of Helen not being a cheater, in my eyes the person knowingly sleeping with the cheater is just as bad as them.

I hear ya! :clap2:

It's a lazy stereotype absolutely, but if you hadn't noticed, the person was making a joke (and so was I)

This is very interesting to me. What we are seeing happening on twitter is what Helen said was happening in the house. People were continuously sniping at her, goading her in to a response and then they call foul when she responds.

Every evidence of it being continued on twitter now that she has left the house

I hear this too! I see plenty of women making sexist comments against women just because it's drummed into them I suppose. Doesn't make it okay!

I take it you're referring to me? :joker:
I wasn't perpetuating a stereotype, i was joking, i dont care what Matthew does, or what his sexuality is, i don't like him either way, but out of all the things said on this forum about other housemates, even their friends and family, me making a joke about someone's sexuality is hardly the end of the world

If you're referring to Toya and Matthew, I doubt they showed any where near as much hatred for Helen in the house as they have done on Twitter since she won. Doubt they'd have had the balls  and they're being fuelled by the attention they get everytime they post about her.

Doesn't matter, she didn't have a partner. She was paid to do her job and the man was cheating on his wife.

Shes only retaliated a few occasions Matthew, Toya and Danielle are ****ing slating her on Twitter.

Helens handled it really well and just retweets them and when needed to shut them up posted something to show them up for who they are...Hypocrites.

I thought she would have lost her cool but shes doing surprisingly well.

Danielle is being especially bad calling her all the names under the sun and calling anyone who dare question her tweets bellends, chavs, bastards and blocked them....myself included lol.

It's all just sour grapes really, there was campaigns all over the internet fir Helen to win just like there was for Ashleigh and there was only a tiny difference in the results so basically Helen supporters just voted a bit more.

Ashleigh got there fairly, Helen didnt. This is the crux of the matter and it should definitely be investigated. No sour grapes, we just want to be able to watch a fair show and if we cannot then we wont watch. In normal circumstances, no matter what, I would always say well done to the winner. Not this time. It isnt about Helen anymore, it is about fairness and the need to have our show back in a presentable format. There is too much negativity in the world, BB just adds to it.

Pete. 18-08-2014 10:30 AM

Helen did sleep with two married men as well
