He is being judged on his attitude towards other people and how he treats other people, he can't help his disabilities, but that doesn't give him an automatic pass to be a douche nugget. |

LOL the trouble is then people will say there, Gary is now showing his true colours. He wont win regardless and tbh I do not think anyone will risk not being part of the fold and stand up for him. Gary was at his best when he was secluded with three others in the rubbish dump. Even Kellie was talking to him and standing up for him against Dee but, as soon as he was out he went back to the fold and began to join in. He should be careful really as he to needs a lot of understanding. There is a conversation on line of three, George, James and Kellie chatting, talk about interrupting each other, they just kept on talking over each other!! It is a shame they dont take a lesson out of their own criticisms of Gary, at least he has a plausible excuse which they should at least try and undestand. On another note, have we ever heard James stand up for Gary in a genuine way? He declared to him in the live feed that he had actually risked it as everyone was against G. Little does he know the tide is turning. I am waiting for it to turn on Dee. . |

I'm not going to list every single thing he's done wrong, because even if i do, people are going to make excuses for him, so whats the point? |

He does put a foot wrong sometimes just like everybody else on this earth. He's only human! He still doesn't deserve the way he's treated by some hms though. |

Definitely not (mind you I do not undetstand what a douche nugget is) but it does determine the need for empathy, understanding and patience. It isnt Gary I feel sorry for tbh as if he comes out he will be able to hold his head high knowing that he has been himself and hasnt run anyone down. He hasnt bitched or been nasty. It is the rest of them that I truly do feel sorry for. With time comes age and they ned to consider their future. As I see it it will all fall down on them ......... and the walls came tumbling down!! |

You are just condoning the bullying of a disabled person for his disabilities. I hope you are just trying to be controversial and don't really mean it. |

That is the only place that they seem to congregate and as soon as Gary appears they tend to walk away.........Now as regards the scrap heap as we have said before many HMs have been allowed not to take part in things because of health reasons. All he asked for was that he didnt have to sleep out there. Other than that he fitted in and enjoyed it. Whilst we are on the subjec what about one or two of the others who had a hissey fit? |

The point is that I have watched everything we have been given to watch. All the highlights, live feed etc and I have never seen him put a foot wrong. So my question to the other poster was what have they seen him do. |
All the people who keep embarrassing themselves with talk of Gary not showering, could you please read this factsheet on the effects of acquired brain injury:
http://synapse.org.au/get-the-facts/...act-sheet.aspx In particular look at this bit: Quote:
Stop condoning the bullying of someone due to their disability. It might seem like a fun way to troll but it is actually just vile. |

That man has had a severe brain trauma when he came off his motorbike but he also had tumours and had to have 2 brain operations to have them removed. All of his behaviour is attributable to it. Stop and think what you are posting. Saying things like "Helen is so nice" or "Rachel Rice was dead exciting" are fun ways to troll. Condoning the mass bullying of a man due to his disability isn't. |

Just because someone doesn't agree with you about one little thing doesn't mean they completely disagree with you and therefore "condone bullying". It isn't all black and white like that. |

What I am trying to do is help you. Some people don't realise how their words can be perceived. If people tried to help gary in that way then there might not be such a problem. |

Gary's not prefect, not by a long chalk. But I've yet to hear him bitch behind someone's back, raise his voice, raise his hand, cut someone's clothes up, ruin food, question the skills that people are famous for (like they all did about his acting skills), jump around and keep people awake/wake them up or piss in the pool like a filthy pig. And yet... he's the one being treated like an outcast.
Their general attitude toward his disbilities seem to be the same as David, who said, "Yes, I know he's deaf, but come on... you sometimes have to say things THREE TIMES!" They're ignorant halfwits, and that's the intelligent ones. Most of them wouldn't attain the dizzy height of halfwit if they had twice the wit they have now. |
