Steph, George is not worth waiting for!

[QUOTE=Tip;7266277]If Gary was genuinely being bullied then what were people doing watching it and not trying getting the program shut down?

I have already answered a similar question #43

Some people don't recognise when they are being bullied or being abused, Gary had great insight and did realise that every one of his fellow HM's hated him.

Gary was abused and bullied endlessly in the CBB house by almost every other housemate incredibly.

I totally agree with that Angelika, good points.

There's lots of opinions - we are all entitled to ours and to think we're right.

I know in the past, complaints about bullying have been dealt with fairly swiftly one way or another - so it's interesting what's happening here.

I'm very surprised people aren't expressing more vitriol towards BB seeing as they stated specifically that they take care of hms before during and after the show and were monitoring Gary especially.

Why do you think BB wouldn't be living up to that responsibility?

I'm not sure that channel 5 has much social responsibility. Unless someone is in danger of kicking lumps out of another person, they will let it continue. They will play the social experiment ticket the majority of the time. Where they will have an issue is where a housemate directly complains about some behaviour, then they will need to issue a warning.

I don't particularly want to get into the whole bullying thing again, as we had on the normal BB. My view is that BB could have directed the goings on in the house at any time adjusting things in a subtle way to reduce tensions, and failed to do so, thus making it uncomfortable viewing, at least for me.

I won't be watching any further conflict driven BB's, I've had more than enough of it. So the producers will need to make some serious changes before i watch again.

OFCOM is the official TV and media watchdog. It should be far more effective
to complain to OFCOM than to BB. The opposite may be the case of course, that should be a point to watch.

I agree that there seems to have been very little done for all the complaints and comments of concern from the public.

Ola has changed her mind, and says that James is definitely not a bully...

... and she also says that she got her black eye falling down some steps.

Are you kidding has she really got a black eye :joker: Too late Ola you obviously told him the truth, dont make yourself into a liar now. He still hasnt learnt anything and carries on with his sourgrapes interviews. The majority will take it all with a pinch of salt knowing what a horrible creature he is.

Guide him and tell him to come down off of his high horse, he lost to the two who he deemed lesser individuals. He is class conscious and considers himself well above the two. Sadly the majority of the public do not agree with him, we cannot all be wrong now can we?

It wasn't as bad as the things james said about people. If james can be "brutal" and proud of it then why can't we be brutal about James?

He never insinuated that anyone in there beat up their wives, or other halves, that's just beyond below the belt.

You don't think there's anything wrong with insinuating a man beats his wife just because you don't like him?

What? So a joke is serious to you, but all of the real insults in the house like blaming Gary for exposing himself, and all ganging up on him is fine? How do you work that out? You need to do a reality check. What is real, and what is a joke.

Difference being, Gary did expose himself.. no-one in that house this year has said anything as bad as what you just did.

No he didn't, that's the point. He had a bad knee, he was fixing it, and his shirt covered him mostly.

He pulled his trousers down, people saw bits of him.. insinuating someone beats his wife because he might have said a few unsavory things is awful, but, even if it was a joke, domestic violence is not something to joke about anyway, either way the comment was disgusting.

Ok, so you take jokes as real, and reality as jokes. You keep saying that we don't get James humour. I don't get your humour.

Both Ricci and Leslie insinuated that Gary was a bad role model to his son or nasty to his son.

James called Gary and Frenchy "freakos."
