Chin up, just remember that you're better than that prick.

armand.kay 20-09-2014 11:48 PM

Also the insults wouldn't bother me because I know I'm better than most people in my area it's just the thought of people seeing me arguing with some chav in public would me feel I'll.

Creggle 21-09-2014 12:04 AM

Should of broken his jaw tbh :/ what a parrrrick

Raph 21-09-2014 12:06 AM

Wow what a twat, you did the mature thing by just walking away but ughh at least you can think he's probably miserable if he has to be so mean to people about a bloody parking spot. Sorry you had to go through that though man :(

Glenn. 21-09-2014 12:10 AM

You should punch him in the face with a brick

..I don't even think he wanted it that badly...the thing he probably wanted most was a reaction from you and to feel a stupid sense of satisfaction from that because he's an idiot...and you didn't give him that reaction but instead you gave him the parking space...perfect response really, he isn't worthy of anything else from you..leave him to his parking space, his low self esteem and his ignorance while you enjoy your chicken bites, knowing that you're you and not him....

Why were you intimidated by him? Was he hot?

Natalie. 21-09-2014 06:46 AM

What a prat, I just want to egg his window or something :suspect:

Mokka 21-09-2014 06:48 AM

I am pretty sure I would have gone all Cathy Bates in Fried Green Tomatoes on his a**

Somethings are worth the insurance hikes.

You have already stated that the incident occurred in a location which has no CCTV cameras and I believe that, had you just ignored this ignorant bastard and left the car where it was and walked away, you would have returned to find your car damaged - probably scratched by 'keying' or similar.

'Dragged up' bullying scum like this guy have no consideration for other people or other people's property. They have no regard or respect for the law and do not not know how to spell 'morals', let alone possess any, and I believe that you did absolutely the correct thing in the circumstances - even though you may now feel ashamed or angry at yourself for not 'standing up' to him.

You were in a 'no win' situation. You cannot reason with an ignorant man. You cannot appease a bully. You cannot even fight a man who has no sense of consequence because he has no taboos; every week in our cities, decent young people (usually students) are being knifed or beaten to death because they 'argued' with yob low-life's who were just out to cause trouble.

No, don't be hard on yourself, there was, in the circumstances, nothing you could have - lawfully - done. I say 'lawfully' because I assume that you are 'law abiding', and would not have entertained any of the more satisfactory options open to you. Like yielding, driving away, then returning to 'key' his parked car. Or yielding, driving away, then returning with 2 huge male friends with baseball bats.

No?.... I didn't think so. And this is just why you should not be hard on yourself. You cannot win with these vile scum-bags unless you're prepared to descend to their level. You cannot fight under the Marquess of Queensberry rules when the other guy can't read and is wielding a baseball bat.

Forget and move on - you're the bigger person.:wavey:

Am I not allowed to be intimidated in situations I'm unfamiliar with?

That was exactly what I thought. I thought if I had left my car there it would be damaged. I didn't have much time to think, it was within a few milliseconds that I had to process it all.

And absolutely, I wouldn't have keyed his car anything because that automatically puts me in the wrong. Even though he was ignorant, I wouldn't have retaliated like that.
