this would be a much better competition if you made a rule that it had to be made from scratch. then we'd actually be judging real artistic talent.

Obviously when judging Avas of celebrities the like or dislike of the celebrity will be a determining factor in people's votes, which makes the whole competition pointless.

If yu hate nicki minaj you obviously aren't going to vote for a nicki minaj ava are you. what the hell is the point of this?

Making an avatar from scratch can be very difficult and very limiting to a lot of members. So editing a picture and designing it in my opinion is still someone creating an avatar. Signatures are made from existing pictures.

This is a forum game, not a world competition for avatar making. Also, about your nicki minaj example, surely someone mature enough could look passed the person on the avatar and appreciate the actual design/effect. No?
