I am actually anti-vegan though lol, vegetarian is bad enough, but I can understand people not eating meat, vegan is just for people with m....l h....h problems

you'll have to guess the rest cause I'll get banned lol

I'm not sure why it bothers you if someone else chooses to be vegan. It hardly makes them mentally ill. :conf:

As for Alicia, at least she's not forbidding her child from having friends with certain names. :idc:

Justifying one nutjob by saying she is not like another

Pure logic

I don't recall "justifying" her choice regarding what her kids eat. :conf:

Its nobody's business but her own how she chooses to raise her kids.
Keep shoving your own full of turkey twizzlers if you like thats up to you.

Kids have rights, and I think that she is breaking those rights.

..this and this, although with treats/sweets etc at parties, I think that maybe it would be better to allow her daughter occasional special treats..I just don't personally believe in making things 'taboo' because it can be very counter productive...but she is giving her daughter a healthy lifestyle, which is much better than parents who are extreme in the opposite way and allow their children to become over-weight with an unhealthy diet...Katie really has no self-awareness at all though to even comment on it as she has openly admitted 'controlling' her children's decisions....

Given the state of children's weight and early onset diabetes in the uk, I wonder which side of argument looks more healthy.

Well I don't think Katie would send her kids to Alicia's house as she probably doesn't approve of the kids name as she can tell what class the kid is by their name. That my friend is OTT and Katie is the queen of OTT. One of Katie's children's name is India. Go figure. :nono:

A very strange and unnatural setup. Poor kid.

Vanessa 14-01-2015 08:27 AM

I much prefer this than kids having a bad diet. But they should be allowed the occasional treat.

Vegetarianism isn't for me personally, but a healthy, balanced diet is possible without eating meat.

Even for dinner?? I'm sure she gives seeds and nuts as snacks but surely she doesn't get a plate of seeds for dinner? I heard her saying she eats sushi.

Lol.. Yeah, I'm not a fan of sushi! However, I do think that kids accept the food they're given when young. My cousins daughter is 10 and has been brought up on a completely organic, non processed, non plastic packaged diet since she was born.. I have to say I'm now impressed at what she eats. They were here in the summer and she sat down to a platter if food that most children would have been horrified by, and ate the lot! It's not strange to her, it's just the norm.

Exactly. Jesus she sounds like she's really into what her child is eating and it sounds like a very healthy diet and she said she does eat chicken and fish, that sounds pretty balanced. In in age where obesity and over weight children is rampant in our society she should really be applauded

At 3 if a child decided what they were going to eat, they'd be living on chips and chicken nuggetts, its the parents who let them do this are the ones people should be outraged by, they're the ones who are going to end up with problems over what they eat not Alicias daughter

No, she's bonkers!

MTVN 14-01-2015 12:49 PM

Her obsession with health must ironically be quite unhealthy. She's the sort of health freak who becomes an insufferable bore because all they can talk about is sugar levels and carbohydrates :idc:
