I'm not a fan of this whole 'representation of groups' malarkey, but if i had to be represented by anyone, I'd rather be represented by Michelle than that vile skip rat any day of the week.

i dont blame her for getting angry at perez, again that not what i said-what i said was wrong was saying hes setting back the movement 50 years with his actions in the house, thats a great insult to both those who have fought for lbgt rights and many watchers and...like how many times to i have to repeat it? i wonder how much of my reply you read before responding because its doesnt appear to b off anything i actually wrote. |

Good day to you sir I am not in the mood to debate today but I thought I should correct you for future reference. |
no one person represents the homosexual community just as no one person represents the hetrosexual community, it is spectacularly ignorant and arrogant of michelle to claim such a role and to claim all gay people must behave a certain way the way she deems fit. what a twat..........everyone is an individual regardless of their sexuality

She's used the gay community for her own ends and given precious little back. Very few people in the gay community would consider her "representative", not least because she's not gay, but also because she endorses, enables and supports a professional homophobe, racist and bigot

funnily enough i didnt diagree with anything you said. you cant seem to accept people who have different views from yours and apparently even those who share your views. but as we are in the sharing mood here : debate dɪˈbeɪt/ noun noun: debate; plural noun: debates a formal discussion on a particular matter in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward. you have been using the term wrong so i thought i should correct you for future reference. Good day :wavey: |

I mean, why segregate a section of society and make them a 'cause' or a 'special group'. We are all people. Equality should mean just that. We are all equal. And Michelle should get over herself and stop being such a prima dona for goodness sake! |

You cant always be right, at least LStan is joining in with the debate because he actually has the brain to accept other peoples opinions... ...Good day to you. |
I agree and dont get the fuss on Michelle, She hasnt really done anything other than say a few things about the gay movement and become katies forgettable side kick, which is a shame as I dont know her at all, and often forget she is even in there.
|
I don't see how your sexuality is the one and only way to define yourself as a person. As for Michelle I agree she doesn't represent the gay community and I feel as though she is using this for popularity.
|
The reason Michelle doesn't represent anyone other than herself was made clear when she was concerned that she would finish in a lower final position than Perez. This would not enter the head of someone truly representing a community, she is only concerned with her own popularity

I dont think she's claimed that she does represent the gay community? She is passionate about them and she wouldn't have to talk about them if Perez wasn't such a bad example of a 'gay' little drama queen or w.e stereotype you want to call it.

You can be passionate about equality and acceptance but you cant be passionate about gay people in general. |
