It was to point out that she isn't all accepting of others opinions like he suggested, when Keith gave his opinion she went off on a tangent and started attacking him personally. Quote:
So here we have people actually defending something when they haven't watched the clip LOL which funnily enough is EXACTLY what KH is guilty of in it :laugh3: |

You cannot see past her persona online. All the things she said about fat people, layabouts, gingers....all of them hysterical, a lot of them true. |

And for none of the comments you quoted although they are all vile and not the slightest bit funny nor true. This thread however is about Katie, not me so don't attempt to derail it please. |

As for the rest of what you said I am NOT a troll I simply said (with tact) that we all watch the show and have different opinions.. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean Im right your wrong how could either of us be right or wrong when all i really said was I was tired of hearing 'are you watching and we all have opinions'! |

Off topic but just wanted to say, kirklancaster, I love the way you write. You should do it for a living. :)

I also find there's very little "truth" because she doesn't deal in ration, logic and facts. Her area of expertise is insults, generalising entire categories of people, inciting hatred and perpetuating nasty stereotypes. |

I don't mind blunt. I don't like cruel and small-minded. There's a difference. |

Sometimes I agree with what Katy H says, wholeheartedly and other times I don't. But shge does make a refreshing change from the politically correct society that has got worse and worse over the years. Sometimes things NEED to be said and to hell with the PC brigade.

Mocking a seriously ill ebola patient and trying to kick up a panic about her being an "ebola bomb"? I fail to see any rationality there, yet I see plenty of cruelty. I know I'd be horrified if a loved one of mine was diagnosed with a highly deadly virus and saw them being made the subject of nasty jokes online. Making jokes about the Glasgow helicopter crash? Seems pretty cruel to me. Casually calling for more bombing of Palestine without even acknowledging the innocents caught up in these conflicts? Again, not at all rational and very cruel. Stereotyping people of certain names / the overweight / the unemployed as all sharing the same, negative traits? No rationality here and no actual logic but a prime example of a tiny, nasty mind. |

And making horrid comments like that is doing something bad as far as I'm concerned. Words can be harmful. |
