I dont hate perez and find him more funny than anything. He just says it like it is, and at least admits its all about him. When he heard the boos he didnt change much unlike cami who quietened right down to sway the public. I think he is open about himself being important and he does love himself, in Britain modesty is more popular than over confidence. And they think its fake. Maybe it is as, i feel i know all the others but perez i am still working him out. But the series wouldn't have been the same without him. I can't speak for why others hate him but here are reasons i found him horrible. Maybe others agree.

1. Double Standards : He deliberately creates upset and tries to offend others (Alex, Michelle, Calum etc) but as soon as anyone responds to it - he is up in the diary room with the rule book claiming that HE is the one being 'threatened' 'abused' 'offended' etc etc.

2. Making comments aimed to cause hurt : eg what he said to Michelle about her voice for the LGBT community and the 'AIDS victims of the early 80s' (which he knew was a low blow to upset her)

3. Non-stop loud attention seeking : Shouting constantly and what he says is almost always either glorifying himself or putting down others for his own gain.

4. Not caring for others : His behaviour shows how little he cares anyway but he even said repeatedly how he 'doesn't care what people think, inside or outside the house'. When people confront him over his attitude/behaviour he has no mind to respect or change, he just simply tells them to 'leave the house'. If they go in another room to avoid him, he says he will 'follow them in - just to annoy them' He takes delight in upsetting people.

I could go on but that's enough to explain most of what people hate about him i am sure.

Perez is not hated.

Its clear that you are Michelle's mouthpiece - why don't you speak about and promote her. Your obsession with Perez is becoming very boring!

In a previous thread - now closed you were asked for details on what Michelle does for and how she supports the LGBT community - that was quickly shut down and no answer!

He's a marmite character like there have been many. Even Aaron was like that, but he was lucky that the facebook votes were so cheap back then and you could vote many times for very little.
Without the facebook vote Aaron would not have won.

From what I can tell off my friends who dislike him etc they find his attention seeking as they out it I don't view it as that as a reason why they dislike him. They also find him rather annoying.

He is a loud, in yer face Yank who behaves in a most un-British manner. He was never going to go down well in the UK.

Luckily, he is flying back to New York on Saturday and will very likely never (dis)grace our TV screens again! ;)

Because he is as nasty as some people say KH is,but they conveniently sweep all his vile comments under the carpet,I have brought a few things up that he has said,NONE were ever answered properly.

The funny thing is that KH is a nasty piece of work, but because she's british and a woman she gets away with it. Perez is not even nasty. :bored:

KH has been described, in the recent past, as the Most Hated Woman in Britain. So she's hardly got away with it.

Hilton had a pretty repellent reputation: a quick read of his Wiki entry gives an insight into the man. There is nothing nice about him at all.

Because there's no excuse for being so attention seeking and annoying as he was. A lot of people want his actions to follow him back home for his the public to see (and hopefully disdain).
