if that is true then i am disappointed, however i am not surprised as everything happening right now is political pre-election mud-slinging .

But Ed could have used his main kitchen
but they would have to remove all the high priced gear first.

All Ed should do is be Honest
but that not his plan

Justine Miliband not allowed in the big kitchen

http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/images...s/milkitch.jpg

ED MILIBAND’S wife is banned from the proper kitchen where he cooks flamboyant gourmet meals, it has emerged.

The Labour leader’s wife is restricted to the small kitchenette in their north London home where she is allowed to microwaves pasties.

A source close to the couple said: “Ed has an induction hob, Sabatier knives and copper core pans up there, and he goes mental if Justine touches any of it.

“Once she sneaked in to borrow some milk and he blew up at her like Gordon Ramsay on crack, screaming that she’d disturbed the marinade and his lamb chops were ‘utterly ****ed’.

“And he eats it all himself. Justine and the kids have to make do with pasties, fish fingers and bags of Monster Munch.”

Ed Miliband said: “I take cooking very seriously and my kitchen is my special place. I came up with the idea of compulsory election debates in there while scaling a red mullet.

“If she goes in there again I will divorce her. I don’t care if it costs me the election, she will not touch my fish tongs.”

It was also revealed that Miliband has a third kitchen, which has a dirt floor and an open fire, and a fourth kitchen which is filled with exotic African meat.

The day I judge anyone by the kitchens they have as to politicians, then that will be the day I should stop having any interest in politics at all.

I have seen loads of kitchens in my time, houses with 2 kitchens and houses with a kitchen the size of a cupboard.
None of which would alter, or even form my opinion of the eprson whose kitchen it was.

Absolutely ridiculous and I also have to say,in my opinion, this is one of the cheapest jibes to get at a politician I have likely ever seen as to this thread as to this kitchen and Ed miliband.

As long as in a kitchen you can make tea, meals and therefore have it functional, that is all that matters to me, no matter its size or decor.

Also, I am not really fooled easily arista, and voters for sure are,in my view, currently being fooled by many politicians,(not because of their houses or kitchens),not however by Ed Miliband..

Once I trust someone if they let me down as Clegg did once he was in this govt; and then also had I trusted Cameron on his promise of no re-organisation of same on the NHS,then once seeing they lied and blatantly, I never fall for their lies again.
I couldn't care one jot as to what their kitchens are like, what they say and then actuallydo, when given the chance with power, means far more to me in politics.

"I couldn't care one jot as to what their kitchens are like"

Joey the point is he wants to ,show voters he is not rich,
but he is with a Main Kitchen you can not see.

all people want is the Truth
not the hardly used 2nd kitchen.

As for you trusting Clegg
so what?

Well of course he is well off, he is a politician with a another career he can follow, his wife is very successful in her career too.
No one doubts he is rich, what does that matter.
I have no problem with people being rich or poor for that matter, it is what they stand for that matters.

We are in a 'visual' age where politicians are presented as something they 'ought to be' rather than what they are.

I don't know anyone who is planning to vote Labour, myself included, who doesn't think Ed Miliband is rich.
They all are, Nick Clegg is too, his wife is rich in her own right, are you saying Cameron isn't, surely not.
Are you saying people shouldn't vote for Labour because Ed Miliband is rich.

For crying out loud have you no better argument from your continuous hatred of all things Labour to come up with than that, with the fullest respect.
No one is being fooled at all and I doubt any politician is poor in the real sense of the word anyway.
Most people I know who vote, think all politicians are really well off too.

There is another article on this thread saying his wife uses this kitchen all the time, so how is it a hardly used kitchen, that throws your statement out the window that it is hardly used then, since she will be the one at home far more than he is at present.
So the filming was done in 'her' kitchen, what on earth is the issue with that.
I really despair at things at times.

I also don't think Ed Miliband has ever said in his view that he is not rich, he goes on about giving others the same opportunities he has had but has never presented himself as not being well off from all I have seen and heard of him.

You could be on to something there AnnieK.:joker:

At least it is 'his' kitchen', they didn't use someone elses place to give a false image,it is their kitchen in their house.

It is unbelievable that so much is being made of it,the comments as to his wife too are just a reminder of how silly politics has become.

However if petty things like someone's kitchen and then throwing unnecessary insults to someone's wife is considered acceptable then all powers that be really help us here in the UK.

I wouldn't want to know any of them if they were all like that.
Thankfully,I know they are not and that the vast majority of voters neither like to see it done, and don't themselves make petty nasty judgements of people for no reason either.

To most it is policies not how someone lives, talks, looks and eats, that matter to the mass of voters.

To be quite honest,I am only confused that I even bother to read and respond to your posts.

Something I really must learn not to do in the future.
I try generally to give anyone the benefit of the doubt and reason with but sometimes I get that badly wrong as I realise now this time too.

Try to belittle and get at me all you like but that says far more about you than it ever will me.

I have never liked Tony Blair and since I was only 5 when he became PM I doubt I would have been able to be on here, even if here existed then.
I was also a Conservative supporter until I was 17,I voted Lib Dem in 2010,and supported this coalition until I saw firsthand the heartlessness of its policies and its ruination again almost of the NHS.

Your case appears to have so many holes in it, I wouldn't put any liquid into it as you would likely have none left by the time you got to where you are going.
