Best crash and burn since Utopia.

So 2 out of 11 series on Channel 4 got that. And those 2 had a 24/7 feed.

This guys expects the show to be successful without the feed and says that the feed is only coming back if it is that successful. It's hilarious

And during all this time he has been stringing people along telling them that it might come back.

Not easily. Only one year was well above 5 and close to 6 and that was series 3. Even the 5th series needed a fight to get it over the 5 million mark.

Most series of BB averaged about 4.7 million

Whether I am watching it or not won't make a jot of difference to the quality of the show which will remain ****e, hence the reason it will soon be axed.

Jason. 29-05-2015 06:36 PM

Is he on Magic Mushrooms?

5 million?

The show didn't even get 5 million on Channel 4. Only launches and finals got 5m or above. Well with the exception of BB5 and BB3, of course.

On Channel 4, the loyal viewership consisted of 4.6m. Now it consists of 1.6m.

Vicky. 29-05-2015 06:39 PM

Never then...

Glenn. 29-05-2015 06:41 PM

Let's be real the live feed will never return. We've been without it since 2011 so it's high time people got used to it. Endlessly complaining about it on a BB forum won't change that.

As for the 'axe it its dead' crap, switch off and stop watching it. Don't come on here bitching about it because it's getting tedious. Also people mocking other people for enjoying the show need to love themselves.

Look the show is in a hole. People will be analysing why it is in that position for the next few weeks. A great many of us believe there is one reason above all others and we are pointing that out.

This is a forum for dicussing Big Brother, both what is good and bad about it, as well as what is utterly awful. If you find these threads tedious, take your own advice and stop entering them and replying to them.

This series, yes.

But, in general most C5 series have averaged around 1.6m, the same way most C4 series averaged around 4.6m.

So, in other words BB has lost over 3m viewers.

This from the member who last night said he wasn't watching BB anymore.

If he really wants to get more viewers then he should pose an online questionnaire and actually take notice of what people want in a BB show. Because all they have done in the past few years with their twists and turns and aiming for shock value and confrontation, is to turn viewers away.

There is if you're going to be irrational and OTT about it.

ThriceShy 29-05-2015 07:07 PM

The sole reason that they won't provide live feed is that they want to completely control what is shown. They want to be able to let people out of the house like rylan going to his xfactor auditions. They want to have producers holding cue cards, as was glimpsed on bbots, without anyone seeing.

Having watched some of the conversations this year, they are incredibly forced and scripted and have clearly been cued by producers.

All the other excuses about live feed are nonsense. In the grand scheme of things, live feed would cost them peanuts and could actually be profitable if they got thousands paying £20 per series online for it.

That is not a response to anything I said.

This is a forum for discussing the show... What Ben Frow has said is an interesting development and in my opinion pretty much confirms the show is done.

If you're not interested in this conversation then stop replying.

If you're enjoying it then start a thread where you can all talk about what a 5 star series it's been (whilst it burns). Some of us are not enjoying it and regard the problem (or at least one of the problems) as being the very thing that the head honcho will not even consider at this point.

Well campaign to get others to watch, (maybe you could dress down as Aaron and go hump tower bridge or something!) Or have a whip round then! I don't know about Ben Frow but the constant carping about live feed sure gets on my nerves!

Where have I carped about live feed?

This is a thread about live feed and I simply made a post giving my opinion on why they won't bring it back.

Personally I very rarely watched it and certainly wouldn't pay for it.
