You misquoted her.

She said compared to the others in there who have aspirations of fame, she's just normal, as in "ordinary".

In her interview she said that this was the one big thing she wanted to do before she goes back to her regular life. She doesnt have any delusions about getting fame off this which, lets be honest alot of people go into BB for. She also said shes a huge fan of the show which is why she entered, she doesnt want any more from it.

I dunno if it was the boring which didnt help but I really think being told she "doesnt deserve it" was what actually upset her. I mean who really deserves to go on BB according to those housemates? The producers put her in so they obviously saw something, and if people dont like her they can vote her out. I think the point she was trying to make was that she is a fan of the show and just wanted the experience, but it wasnt clear from what she said. Shes not a fav of mine but I can understand where shes coming from.

...excellent post Lstan.....

Simply put, it highlights the play acting she is doing in th BB house

So, again, her tears are fake because her dad is in prison?

Ok. :pat:

I'd probably have her reaction if I'd been told by the likes of Helen Wood and the rest of the clan that I didn't "deserve" my place in the BB house because I didn't have plastic tits and sell stories to newspapers.

You and other posters are struggling to somehow validate bringing her father into the discussion when it's entirely irrelevant. It doesn't "set the scene" for her character whatsoever and what a silly remark. My own father was involved with drugs for many years, does that in anyway have anything to do with my life, who I am and anything I've done. NOT A ****ING JOT.

Yes, her father's in prison, like thousands of other people. Now let's get over it and stop bringing it into threads about a girl in the Big Brother house. It's pathetic and out of order.

I personally think making insulting remarks towards or unnecessarily discussing housemates friends and family members and personal lives should be against the rules. Talking about how eccentric someone's mum seems when they talk to Emma on eviction night, fine. Hypothesising that they're a terrible parent and that said housemate obviously has an awful home life, out of order.

If I were ever a housemate and came out to find people had been dragging my friends and families into discussions there would be hell to pay. Likewise I wouldn't like it if I knew someone who went on the show and suddenly I started being discussed on forums as if I had signed up for such judgement. It's unnecessary and it's out of order.

Coming from the poster who delights in bringing up similar issues, thats a bit rich :pat:

You aren't making yet another statement you're not going to bother backing up surely?

...slightly OT but not...do you remember the year Alex Rose was in BB and her mum joined the forum..?...they did stop I think when she joined and people chatted to her but there had been some not great stuff beforehand of the same ting and I know how upset she had been about it all, she's a lovely lady and a great/supportive parent who adores her daughter....

Exactly and Helen is so manipulative that Chloe ended up apologising to her! Hah

She would be strange by Ch4 standards, but she's normal by this lots standards along with Cristian, and Kieran before he got evicted.

My main issue with Ch5 is that they don't show you unless you're in some horrible showmance, or being disgusting in some manner.

With this series for example I think the others deliberately get shown as boring so we all bow before Marc.

Housemates shouldn't be chosen on the basis of how much they'll capitalize on their 15 minutes when they get out. I'm not Chloe's #1 fan but I'm probably just indifferent to her. I certainly wouldn't call her undeserving. An interesting part of the show is that it's all sorts from all walks. I don't think you could put someone in that is undeserving. It's not a thing you can buy, it's not a holy mission and it's not a career. It's a reality show so anyone the producers pick is deserving.
