So you think he didn't know that you needed to be liked to win a popularity contest ?

Keep trying mate.

Marc was more intelligent than the rest of them on many certain levels but not on others. But i really could not care less now. He has gone. Move on.

This is the post I agree with the most.

A man who is academically bright doesn't necessarily use that same brightness within his social circle. Marc had very little social awareness other than what he was being told from those coming into the house and he seemed to totally rely on that gift of knowledge rather than being able to sum himself up.

Academically clever but socially inept.

Some people are failing to realise that he didn't go in the house to make friends, they assume that he lacks the ability to make friends on the outside world which is a totally different thing.

He thought he had no need to try to be liked as he thought his so called 'charm' and banter (which was mostly cruel and nasty) would have the majority of the public doting on him automatically for the 'entertainment' he was bringing. He was wrong and got shown the door = not socially smart. As I've said, he should have shown more of his nicer side to redress the balance.

There's a pattern forming here, get proven wrong and reply with your own thoughts and ideas on how he should have played the game.

I'd be happy to discuss it further if you want to open a thread outlining how you think Marc should have played the game. Because let's be honest that's all you've talked about.

I have no idea what you are talking about; I have remained consistent throughout this discussion of Mark's intelligence or lack of it in certain areas, whereas you consistently misunderstand what I say over and over again and go off on a different tack every time. I'm sure you agree that it's boring now. I'm out. wavey:

Sure pal, that must be it.
