Yeah. It wasn't only on C5, either. It was on C4, E4, and other channels.

I think everyday from 22 December - 5 January I saw the advert at least three times throughout the day. I actually got sick of seeing it. They also had billboards which I saw at the bus stop and that best moments type show on New Years Day, as well.

oh yeah loads of bus stuff in London, yeah the ad got annoying...

I think one of the major reasons why BB16 did badly in ratings was lack of promo. Even during Timewarp Week or Cashbomb, they would only advertise it like two days in advance on Channel 5 only. It's like, you're introducing these twists to bring in ratings, at least promote them properly on other channels as well instead of one or two ads on C5 during mid-day.

If you looked on twitter during Launch Night it was filled with people saying they had no idea Big Brother had started again, shows how good the promo was tbh.

ikr. Not to mention it launched in May for the first time in almost a decade, as opposed to the first week of June, like it usually has in previous years.

Am I the only one that hasn't really minded the longer break this year, it's unbearable when it launches like 3 days after a draining civilian series. :laugh:

Yeah, 3 days is too soon. But 4/5 weeks (or however long this break is going to be) is too long. I'm finding myself bored of waiting. I think 2 weeks would've been long enough, TBH.

I mean let's be honest here, anything longer than 3 days would've been better, whether it was a 5 days or a week.

Probably the lack of promotion though, if there was a lot of promotion for it then it probably wouldn't feel as long as it does.

I think it was when BB14 ended on a Monday (what) and then CBB was launched that Thursday wasn't it? I just remember not enjoying it much because of how soon it was after BB14. :laugh:
