I can understand why people are being cynical tbf, but the main thing that's made me laugh is fans and detractors alike on this thread are trying to paint him as 100% good or evil in this scenario when I think that it's a mix of both.

It's not a dig just an observation.

No they arent they are just saying there is no need to be a wanker about it i think he is a bit of a knob but some of the spiteful comments about him doing this are just prickish.
You have a very simplistic view on things.

There's no need to be rude, I'm seeing both points of view on this, if anyone's seeing it from a simplistic point of view out of us two then it's you as you can't seem to understand why the detractors would be suspicious of his actions.

..I actually think Austin was genuine in that they all seemed to be drinking quite a bit and he got very emotional and got caught up in the moment..yeah he did go on a bit afterwards so possibly thought that he would 'milk' the situation, I don't know but it was still a lovely thing to do and I think his emotions were genuine when he did it...maybe alcohol induced but still genuine...

Austin is famous for dating a top fashion designer, he's part of a world that is all about aesthetic beauty.

This is like if they put one fat model in a paris fashion week show, then the whole fashion world congratulates itself for being open minded and supporting plus size people. It's a joke!

I admired him for it, he responded to what Gail was saying and very quickly made the decision to have his head shaved.

I applaud him for it and if it made Gail feel better then that is another positive.

Good for him I say, I wouldn't have done it,I am not vain at all but no one touches my hair except a Cousin who cuts it.
I equally applaud James too for his appraisal of Austin as well.

We all get caught up in the moment when things touch us I think and in the house where there is nothing much to distract from that moment, its more likely you would do something in support for someone having a tough time.

I think people also bare in mind that he was pretty obviously pissed :joker: I found his messy drunken tears in the diary room hilarious.

cheapbbfan 07-09-2015 05:34 PM

My opinion has completely changed about him after that. No words can express what a beautiful moment that was

Vanessa 07-09-2015 05:36 PM

Austin is lovely
