I knew attention seeking would get brought up tbh just because they dislike him. He was doing something nice because it's his brother and he loved him.

To me, everything Austin does is attention seeking, I can't see passed that, imo he doesn't do/say anything, if he doesn't think it'll get him some airtime, I wouldn't go in there and make a toast on the birthday of a dead loved one, nor would I expect anyone else to join in if I did, my problem with Austin is that he seems to expect everyone to respect him or the things he does, which doesn't really cut it for me

I don't think it's disrespectful at all, she doesn't seem to have a problem with him so it obviously wasn't out of spite, maybe toasting his brother would have brought bad memories back of someone she lost, no-one knows really, but no-one in there was obliged to go there, it wasn't a necessity, I just think Austin is an arrogant oaf who loves to control people

Perhaps it's a tradition for him/his family to make a toast on his brother's birthday every year, being on BB shouldn't break that tradition. I think there's a lot of attention seeking behaviour in that house but imo toasting a dead loved one isn't one of them.

Meh, I'm just a different person then I suppose, because if I had a tradition like that I'd cherish it as a personal thing for myself rather then standing up on a podium in front of a group of people I hardly knew and basically guilt them into following along with me, that to me is attention seeking

Austin is a massive attention wh*** the moment seemed more about him than it was about his brother..

Jordan. 15-09-2015 06:09 PM

His popularity has been going up :flowers:

THANK YOU

That's exactly what it felt like, more of a 'look at how sad I am' moment rather than a 'let's commemorate my dead brother' moment

As if she has some obligation to do whatever Austin wants people to do, get a life, he's honestly awful, idk why people like him, he's just as bad as Farrah and Jenna.

Thank you for your wonderful contribution Daniel, I'm sure the thread will never be the same again.

I'm just bored of your constant hate for Austin and James

Amy Jade 15-09-2015 06:15 PM

I agree with Armand and Liam. I think him celebrating his brother was milked, Chloe was around for his speech so she was hardly being insensitive to him - she shouldn't be bullied into doing as Austin pleases.

Jordan. 15-09-2015 06:15 PM

Daniel > discussing something that happened last week

Daniel. 15-09-2015 06:15 PM

If they weren't such monotonous, predictable, attention seeking dicks I wouldn't have anything to hate on :hee:

If it was something to make him look positive you'd be all over it like a tramp on warm chips.

People don't HAVE to like your faves.

LukeB 15-09-2015 06:16 PM

Austin was just upset that it was his brothers birthday and wanted to do something nice, a lot people are open about things like that, Doesn't mean he's attention seeking at all, Most people discuss private things, members on here and other housemates... are they attention seekers no. If a favourite did something like that then they would get a awrr moment.. I don't even like Austin that much.

Well Austin brought it up into an argument that will be shown tonight, so it's still a relevant discussion point
