This is actually true :( she was missing for what, 24 hours, but she still came back to see you  she must have really loved you Kaz. God, now I'm tearing up now. Life is so cruel sometimes, isn't it?

Sad news Kaz, but I can only reiterate what's been said. At least it is some small consolation to know that she returned home and that she is not in the hands of any demented cruel b's. I'm sorry Kaz.

Josy 05-10-2015 07:28 PM

Sorry to read that Kaz, as others have said at least she came home and you got to see/hold her one last time.

Cherie 05-10-2015 07:31 PM

Oh :(

Suze 05-10-2015 07:52 PM

So sorry to hear that Kaz :( At least you have the comfort that she didn't die alone somewhere. Really feel for you and your family

Kazanne 05-10-2015 08:10 PM

Thanks everyone,I am so glad ,as people have said,I got to hold and kiss her one last time, and it's comforting having people to chat with about it without them seeing my swollen red eyes, ;-) and thinking "she's mad",lol, and Kirk,I was so worried some dipstick had got to her,but thankfully they hadn't,The kids think she has gone to doggy heaven to see Paddy,( the dog I lost in Feb) , they seem ok with that so far, although we did tell the eldest the facts.

Ryan57 05-10-2015 08:47 PM

Sorry to hear, Kaz. :(

I'm so glad she got back to you to say goodbye, and was with the person who loved and cared for her as she passed.

It never gets easier, pets become part of the family.

You did the right thing by her Kazanne, clearly if she was acting out of her 'norm' then she was either in pain, distressed or even both.

Any pet that has time with you as its owner is a very fortunate one indeed and just hold onto all the good memories you have of her.
Of which I am sure there are a great many.

I'm sorry to hear that Kazanne, especially as your Dog passed away not too long ago either.

Are you planning on giving her a Funeral? It must be very upsetting I really wouldn't want to go through this.

It's horrible Mock, she'll be buried in the garden she loved and we'll plant something nice in her memory, and yes it's been a bad year for us with our animals, but I guess that's what you have to do if you want them , the only consolation I suppose is that they were all old and had a good life. thanks for all your thoughts anyway

That sounds like a nice thing to do Kazanne.

I'm really not the best at doing these sad moments, I do genuinely feel badly for you on what's happened to your pets, but I seem to be coming off a bit awkward I feel, I hope not though.

And you're right at least you gave them a good and long life, it's just something that I think that no owner wants to go through in one year.
