I'm not afraid of death, as i feel there's nothing to fear, what bothers me is the fact that life will go on without me, my girls will carry on their lives (as they should), that they'll painfully grieve for me (i can't bear the thought of them grieving), that they'll have experiences that i'll no longer be a part of, and that one day i'll be forgotten like i never existed, that's what makes me sad.

But it comes to us all, so i say enjoy your days, do at least 1 thing you like/enjoy everyday, and love all.

I'm not afraid of my death, although I don't want it to happen for at least another 25 to 30 years.

But what does worry me is having to see my close friends and family having to go.

As I and the people around me grow older, we're gonna start popping off one by one, on a more frequent basis.

Yeah losing people close to you is more scary because you will actually have to live through that. I would like to see my kids grow up/get married/have their own kids though

It freaks me out

The painful fact is as we grow older we see loved ones pass on...friends..family. I just want to see my children settled...happy and financially coping.
I don't want to be a burden on anyone...I just want to leave knowing those I love are secure and happy...then I will be happy. That's all I want...

More afraid of what it will do to those I leave behind. I'll be gone long before Margaret and the kids. R.

I'm scared of dying and not afraid to admit it but it comes to us all so no amount me worrying will stop it, its the fear of the unknown, I hope I get to see my mum and sister when I do pass

This pretty much sums up my feelings too.

If my mam died ( :( ) I wouldn't be arsed about dying because I'll want to be with her.

Aw

Well the thought of being dead FOREVER in eternal 'sleep' has always given me the chills.

But I agree with some of the other comments. It's the way you die, the actual process that is more scary.

One can only hope one dies a natural death, at a very very very old age. :)

I really love sleeping though so I'm fine with this :hehe:

But really it isn't even like a sleep, it's like how it was before you were born

Black Dagger 27-03-2017 09:43 AM

Not me personally. But the thought of my grandparents finally going terrifies me.

Funnily enough I had the same thoughts, word for word when I was about 15.
