I've heard it branches a lot more than those. I loved Heavy Rain, but it was very possible to see all of the endings, there were only maybe 3 or 4 "major" endings (based around whether the kid survived or not / villain was caught or not and which playable characters survived) with most things in the endings being small differences. The same was true of Until Dawn (not by the same company but essentially exactly the same concept).

I never played Two Souls...

They've been touting this as their most branching storyline so far so I'd hope there will be quite a few potential endings to the story based on player choice.

and also that you have multiple endings, depending on how you play it, who lives/who dies

Been playing this since Monday and it's honestly so addictive, there really are thousands of choices that affect the whole game. Mine's gone pretty good so far but I've been quite safe with my choices, so I'll definitely replay it again after I'm done and be more riskier with more consequences.

Also come through Android Lesbian Sex Bots :clap1:

It is IMO! Think you'd definitely like it, especially Kara's character/storyline

Just finished my first playthrough:

Spoiler:

Managed to keep pretty much all the main characters alive until the very last chapter, the only death I caused which could've been avoided was Simon by having Connor investigate upstairs (that chapter was really conflicting, I was glad I got the option to make Connor become deviant later in the game).

In the final chapter, however, I ended up making the wrong choice somewhere and Luther got killed and Alice passed out as we reached the border. Managed to keep the 3 playable characters alive by the end though and won the androids their freedom through peaceful protests and demonstrations. All the little choices I made throughout the game that boosted public support meant that I had majority of public support by the end of the game, which is a really important thing for gaining the androids freedom I think. Any violent methods would've hindered this.

Unlocked quite a few paths through choices and dialogue I made earlier in the game that I think benefitted my story alot as well. Think it's really cool how missing one small detail in a chapter/choosing less important dialogue can affect your overall ending later in the game.

I'm glad that you can select the chapters you want to re-play/where you want to start playing from again, and choose whether you want to save this or not. Going to replay the final chapter again tonight to try and save Luther and have them safely make it to Canada. I'll play the game again from the chapter where Markus first broadcasts his message at the tower, and play it from there through til the end to keep Simon alive and make some other choices different to before. Also if you don't have Connor discover Simon then the police might not find out about Jericho and it might not get raided? idk there's so many possibilities. I'll also do a run through where I deliberately make poor choices and see what happens, one where I'm on the police's side etc. I can't wait to see all these different endings because there really are loads!

I saw my Brother play this game, it looks so addictive.

Finally got around to starting yesterday, I'm enjoying it a lot. The storyline is brilliant, if you're into the whole "do androids dream of electric sheep" philosophical question.

Also, as was expected, the graphics are phenomenal. Like genuinely next level. The lighting (HDR) and the attention to detail is just stunning... I think we're all so used to "Masserve Openn Werlds!!!" these days that we forget what can be done with a tightly scripted world.

The section where -
Spoiler:

Markus rebuilds himself and crawls out of the junkyard
- despite being one of the most linear parts of the game, is like an interactive piece of art. I feel like it could be a showcase for what HDR is capable of. Blown away tbh.

umm why do i get terminator vibes with this game :flutter:

Late af to this but I finished it tonight and ugh the story was so good, I'm mad though

Spoiler:

I ****ed up the last chapter so bad and litetally got everyone killed except Markus, put such a downer on the finish :(

I feel like everything was going good up until I did a violent protest instead of peaceful one just to stop North throwing shade at me smh

And she doesn't even mind if you go peaceful in the end :worry:

I did find that it's quite hard to keep all three of Kara, Luther and Alice alive. Even ignoring the fact that I managed to get Kara and Alice killed less than half way through my first game before Luther even joined (lol); there's only ONE ending to their final chapter where all three make it to Canada alive and you have to do something that feels like "the wrong thing to do" to get that ending.

Spoiler:

I went violent at the time too, because I had enough of being peaceful throughout and achieving nothing. I kept them all alive though by sacrificing Jerry at the border.

The Kara story branch was easily my fave

Spoiler:

I left Jerry to die welp, that's another thing I did wrong I was just sacrificing all the side characters at the end to avoid putting any of the main ones in any danger and it all ended up backfiring.

I did go back and replay the last chapter and managed to keep Connor alive by saving Hank. Then I got on the boat instead of the bus which saved Kara but Alice still ended up dying :skull: I'll probably come back to the game at some point and take the peaceful route to see how it differs.

Tom4784 20-03-2019 03:30 PM

Spoilers about my playthrough.

Spoiler:

I had the main characters survive in my playthrough, technically. Connor rebelled on the boat and died but his replacement lived and rebelled when he had to kill Marcus. I sacrificed the guy at the border to save Kara, Alice and Luthor and Marcus survive the end by kissing North.
