No deleting your own threads, people who like delete everything will delete every thread they've made

If James manages to find something for quote notification you might be able to have it as an option for those who might find it annoying.

I'd say this is a priority.

Surely the TiBB admin don't like the fact we look like a Christmas forum all year round? :conf:

Yeah, the complainers don't seem to have problems with the forum itself, just the people on it. They want old members back or they moan about "lack of conversation" without contributing themselves.

Yes an option for it sounds better tbh.

- new forum skin comp to freshen up the place
- a better friends feature maybe?
- No time limit on PMs
- automatic super ignore
- maybe a chat room/something like a local plug
- like buttons
- notifications for quotes (maybe)

Probably not possible, but adding to the "recent user bans" thing, there could be a 1-4 word description of a reason why a member has been banned attached next to the banned member to avoid any questions or threads asking for why someone has been banned.

Ie:

Banned member:
X

Duration:
2 days

Reason:
Infractions buildup

Speaking of. Why was the ban thread deleted?

Yeah this is good as it stops the discussion ect.

I loved reading the ban thread :flutter:

Ammi 29-10-2015 03:30 AM

A mass cull... no but really... longer bans...

Something set up by admin like those old Music/Film/general knowledge quizzes we used to do on another site that would have an award, but done on here, I think something the whole forum can opt into and take at any time would be quite fun and would tie in well with the arcade/defunct musicbox. The ones I remember were just 10 multiple choice questions, every week, and you'd get points that go towards a 'league' total that updates every week obviously. Can't remember the website, but Eoin/Z won the Music ones on here for some months, and it looked fairly simple as a website - whether it could be integrated on here, or just made 'official' (rather than say, another thing run by Shaun/Tom/Ben) and stickied or w/e. Just something fun and I'd find interesting. Plus Niamh is basically already doing it 6 times a day through Buzzfeed anyway so why don't we get in on the action? :pipe:

I do like the idea of 'liking' or 'supporting' posts too. Obviously a 'dislike' one would be carnage.

Force Marc to dye his hair (any colour, but perhaps tie it in with the current TiBB homepage theme)

Bring back Stropz...

Ammi 29-10-2015 04:50 AM

..Stropz..?...

..I agree about the like/quote button that it would be good to be optional..they have it on another forum I'm on and it's annoying when you log on and it directs you to threads/pages that you might not want to go back to...

Ammi 29-10-2015 04:51 AM

..I think some of the sections are quite big as well, I don't know about dividing them up a bit.../also often 'samey' threads could be merged more maybe...

Mystic Mock 29-10-2015 05:33 AM

I would like an Animation Sub-Forum to be made where we could discuss Japanese Anime, Adult American Animation like your Family Guy and South Park types, and your Kids ones like Peppa Pig and Spongebob.

Natalie. 29-10-2015 06:29 AM

I think liking posts things would be good

Oh yeah, on top of this extend the length that they appear on the list, till they expire so we know the dates people are coming back
