Cheryl's latest single did flop, her husband even blamed her management for it and caused a bit of dram over it. Her support has been on the slide for the last 12 - 16 months imo, she came across badly in 2014's X Factor and even her die hard stans seem to have moved on

But this suggests that everyone who performs on talent shows go to #1, which isn't the case. She had a big leg up with her judging role but her popularity extends out further than the x factor fan base

Rita has proved this to be false, has she ever had a number one since Calvin Harris dumped her for better (and cleaner) things?

She was riding off the back of The Voice and X Factor, too.
