I don't think he said anything of note in the whole speech.
No wonder most walked away, had he said he was wrong to even just tolerate the word abuse as to gay adoption, that would have been a start.

I agree with you, he was just saying the same with no retractions or even any great understanding as to others feelings.
In fact it came across more like he was attempting justifying the way and what he had said in the quote.

Still dont get it. What was he referring to and why do you think its such a killer quote that you've put it in your signature.

No they don't and as the survey is a few years old they support your position even less now as bigoted views die out.

According to the best stats we have that one of your lads posted, 31% of the country specifically oppose gay adoption.

In light of that, why is Winston being treated like he is?

Hint: The correct answer is that channel 5 want controversy and ratings.

Bit of an irrelevant rant then really.

I can bet that the majority of those 31% don't compare it to child abuse.

It is the contrast between him and Winston.

Winston has been treated like a pariah for giving a view on gay adoption. But Jim Davidson won BB and was feted by Emma and Rylan, despite the fact that he was kicked out of hell's kitchen for homophobic abuse of brian dowling.

I don't know how I can explain it in any simpler terms.

They might not have specifically articulated those words but they obviously think it is wrong or unhealthy in some way.

Opposing gay adoption is acceptable (although an incredibly outdated view that I strongly disagree with). Likening it to child abuse is disgusting and offensive, and that is why people have reacted so negatively to Winston's despicable attitude.

So you are fine with people expressing such views. Glad we got that sorted.

We can move on now.:spin:

Thats their opinion, I strongly disagree with them, but thats their views, what I have the biggest problem with is that he compared it to child abuse, CHILD ABUSE.

Child abuse is a catch-all term. I perhaps wouldn't have chose those words in a public arena. But I stand by my view that a child not having a mother is not an ideal healthy situation.

To deliberately place a child in a motherless family is not the healthiest thing for the child.

I actually think putting a child in an environment where their parental figures have views like these is overwhelmingly more damaging.

Are you actually a troll? This is the most ridiculous post I have ever read on here.

Oh I see. Its to show the irony of how JD was treated in HElls Kitchen as opposed to CBB.

So no where near the 'at least 50%' claim then. That 31% will only get smaller as archaic views die out.

Did they compare it to child abuse?

Obviously people are not going into muslim communities with their clip boards.

Did you miss the words "I suspect" in my original post?

31% is still a huge number of people. In fact it is about 20 million people. Boy, Emma will have her work cut out telling them all off. What a brave little soldier she is.

Why don't you ask them if they compare it to child abuse?

This is an important point. 100% of muslims think homosexuality is wrong and it is entirely based on their religion.

But the bizarre irony is that Christians aren't allowed to believe it in a Christian country but muslims are.

In fact, this presents a bit of a dilemma for the leftists because they are programmed to defend muslims but what if someone criticises muslims for hating gays? Will the leftists explode?

Ant. 09-01-2016 09:30 PM

ThriceShy would post such bull****

So he was prattling on about free speech for no reason.

The speech was a load of bollox. He rambled on about being brash and bold, being a black English man, the **** about free speech and something about men in the army. He finished by asking for no one to judge him.

No one said what people can and can't belive though? It's the fact he compared it to CHILD ABUSE that's the main issue.
I'm sure if that card about him said "is against same sex adoption" the outrage would be much smaller. Most people aren't annoyed by his belife but his ridiculous ideas about it

Is that why leftists hate him? Because he is in a minority (black) but still dares have an opinion about another minority?

Starting to make sense this.

lewis111 09-01-2016 09:33 PM

But yea his speech was ridiculous he asked for 15 mins of questions then answered none of them just talked about his soul
