The younger generation are in the majority who tend to stream (spotify/apple music) and buy digital albums as opposed to the older generation (25/30+) who tend to buy physical albums and still have CD players or something, unless you're indie and get vinyl's, they're probably younger generation too.

Is this 2005.

It's not disrespectful when it was a genuine mistake by Tiffany. Yes Angie was grieving and should have made it clear that she meant David Bowie not Gest, but it was just a huge misunderstanding and actually was hilarious. It doesn't then mean we're laughing at David Bowie's death or disrespecting him in any way. Your issue is clearly with Tiffany not the situation so you're looking for any excuse. Queen New York to win!

...awww Adam....I love that you love David and proof that he is being carried to your generation as well, eh.....I'm sure that David Bowie is hugely respected by all BB producers and any housemates who are familiar with his music...but the whole thing was so unbelievable and already being said as possibly the number 1 mess up of any reality TV show ever and their job is that show, they would be dumb not to have devoted the show to it, they couldn't not to that...( and maybe tonight they may show some things that housemates have said about him..I think actually that Darren did say something but it was hard to keep up with everything that was said as it was all so hectic..)...I also honestly think that David (Bowie) himself would have thought it all very funny as well and have smiled...

I think the incident just showed how stupid and gullible Tiffany is.

I wonder what kind of education she actually got growing up?

I totally understand this Ammi and its not so much Tiffany (although I totally disagree with how she reacted after the truth) its the housemates and ultimately BB for not giving a thought to the death of a actual icon

windyourneckin 13-01-2016 04:23 PM

What were they meant to do might I ask? Just edit the whole thing out of the show?

Instead of putting that pointless Megan and Scotty scene we could have got a few housemate talk about Bowie (if they did)

It's not necessary.

So a fake showmance is more necessary then people talking about a icon?

David Bowie has nothing to do with CBB.

No but of course they're more likely to show some housemates flirting/kissing rather than an intellectual conversation, haven't you learnt anything?

Maybe we'll see some grieving from the HM tonight. I'm sure some of the older ones will want to talk about it. Maybe a sing song.
Tiffany could get up and sing "Queen bitch" or something. (Its an obscure track from Hunky Dory)

Bowie actually did a track called Big Brother on the Diamond Dogs album."Big Brother"

Don't talk of dust and roses
Or should we powder our noses?
Don't live for last year's capers
Give me steel, give me steel, give me pulsars unreal

He'll build a glass asylum
With just a hint of mayhem (Sound about right)
He'll build a better whirlpool
We'll be living from sin,
then we can really begin

Please saviour, saviour, show us
Hear me, I'm graphically yours

[CHORUS]
Someone to claim us, someone to follow

Someone to shame us, some brave Apollo

Someone to fool us, someone like you
We want you Big Brother, Big Brother

I know you think you're awful square

But you made everyone and you've been every where
Lord, I'd take an overdose if you knew what's going down

[CHORUS (3 times)]

We want you Big Brother

Yes I get that but why should we see all the housemates discuss his death.

It was never going to mentioned if Angie hadn't had just said David's dead.

Would have not been slightly odd and perhaps actually disrespectful to have sombre clips of people mourning an icon amongst the hilarity and chaos of all the drama that was going on.
