Gemma represents a large cross section of our dumb down society today and she has a massive following from towie. People who vote for her are supporting mirror images of themselves and even though they may not be as big, their values seem to be parallel to hers, hence her popularity. It was the same last year with Katie Price. Speidi nearly won it, Rylan did and this years antipost fav was tiff because of the way some people thought she was going to be. Gemma is only favoured because she champions some peoples lifestyles and provides an excuse for a lot of overweight viewers that want her to win and be popular s as to make some sence of their own shape and lifestyle.

The fact that she is funny or quick witted is lost on some people, its more to do with people championing their own failed and abhorrent life styles. Obviously she has thin fans as well but they are generally the ones that like the controversial characters.

I have to say,I agree with this.

Just been reading Facebook comments ,she's not as popular as some may think,she got LOTS of negative comments with hundreds of "likes" so she could well be in danger when she's up ,Last nights live feed where she said John had pulled a face in nominations was a lie and a couple of the people she said it to disagreed with her and walked away from her, I think they are seeing through her now

I am not keen on **** stirrers,but I can see they have a place,what I don't like is **** stirring that is full of lies simply to get someone to dislike a housemate they don't like,this is Gemma ,lying about John sneering at Essex people,even David and Chris pulled her up,everthing he does she Chinese Whispers about,I don't like liars and Gemma is a snake,she heard that crowd and now wants to be seen to be getting back at him,immature and sneaky imo.

If I was in there \I would sit and listen to her slagging someone off, |I would then say excuse me but hold on one minute, I would then go into the room and get John to follow me out and then I would say to Gemma, ok darling, he is here now, please tell him to his face what you said to us because you always say you cant stand snakes and leave her to it. Sadly nobody in there has the balls to do it.

I have to say.Although i am against Gemma and her sly tactics.I also don't agree with this.I think John is just as sly but just slightly more clever about it.The reason he gave for nomming Darren was very false.It was pure tactics.
