Then the kicker (so I eat before a date so I don't pig out) and lets me just say the cinema us surrounded by Chiquitos, Frankie and Bennys, Prezzo, a really nice and cheap pub & a Nandos

He took me to the McDonald's....drive thru and I ate chips off my knees in his car which he ate a big mac and 20 chicken nuggets

When he dropped me off he said he'd enjoyed it and he hopes ill go again

LIKE **** I'LL GO AGAIN!

:joker:

I'm sorry Amy Jade but the BIB is just too funny for words.:joker:

But yes he sounds like a jerk, I mean why didn't he offer me the McDonald's?

Being serious though why on Earth would he take a date to a McDonald's? I'm not even that good myself at Romance (in fact I hate it) but even I know that's a disaster in the making.

It's been a long time since I had a first date, trying to remember my first date with Gav. We went out for dinner and he wanted to pay, i do feel a bit uncomfortable about anyone wanting to pay my way but I know it's like a matter of pride or something for some guys  So I let him pay for dinner as long as I paid for drinks for the night

I was thinking the same thing actually. Why can't girls offer to buy guys things? Like seriously this whole 'guys should pay for everything!' Idea is so backwards. It's 2016 people, we should just concentrate on making other happy no matter what gender they are.

I never as much expected him to pay because I have an unlimited card, so I can see movies free and he knew that but he didn't even offer me a minstrel when we got in there and I thought he may have offered a drink for me to turn down.

I'm not into the whole 'guys pay for everything' sorta deal, but idk offer me a sweet or one of your 20 chicken nuggets while I'm sitting in your car waiting for you to polish a whole box off

Ohh and he's the one who kept asking me to go out. He used the whole 'you need to get to know me' crap but how can I in a cinema and then sitting in a car park in his car while he stuffs his face

Crimson Dynamo 09-02-2016 11:25 AM

i would always pay for a lady :inamood:

That's going to Arrested Development for me.

I dare anyone to get past the Afternoon Delight episode and not laugh at least once.

I would agree if the Royle Family didn't exist

The first couple of series were okay. The last one I saw, when they all went on holiday to a caravan... I had to switch off.

The Golden Egg Cup is my favourite episode :flutter:

With the Royle Family they ended it at the right time rather then destroy the show like has happened to many others

Crimson Dynamo 09-02-2016 12:18 PM

I think if i was taking a lady on a date I expect I would taker her to see the new roadside weather station that has been installed in a small village down the road from me. We could take some photos and i could take my hand held anemometer and then we could measure the accuracy of my one against the roadside one.

That would be a lot better than the cinema and its cheaper too. There are no shops in this small village so no chance she would want food etc. Its also 1200 feet above sea level so you need to wrap up so she need not worry about fancy clothes.

Surely any women would like a date like that?
