Yey, really pleased Joey :) what great news! Duke has a cone on as he wouldn't leave his stitches alone and is seriously unimpressed with it haha.

Kazanne 03-03-2016 04:50 PM

Thankyou Ammi, I remember how Tibb was a help to me when my Paddy died last year, I was heartbroken ,but the kind words and thoughts of people do help and I know how much Joey loves his boy and I'm so pleased his hard work has paid off.

It isn't indeed Ammi, and its is why I love this place and see most on here as extended family really as the best way to describe it.

I just wish to update that things look so much better, yesterday,(Saturday), afternoon the Vet and I got him to stand up and despite weeks of being off his feet, he took his weight.

Walking is hard and understandably very much more a case of hobbling than walking, also only have to slowly walk him while supporting him round the house.
He has another 2 weeks of antibiotics left as vet has extended the treatment again.

However,I am so pleased with his progress already and again honestly and sincerely, I thank Kazanne and everyone who took the time to wish him and I well on this.
You truly are good people and all your good wishes and support are massively appreciated.
I actually got a full nights sleep last night for the first time in weeks.

Juts want to again thank you all for your good wishes and thoughts.

Thankfully, my Dog is well on the mend now, he now can go out and although walking slower at present as it seems the infection affected 2 of his legs, he is pretty close to being back to his former ways.

A few tests to be done but what a relief that is to me.
Honestly, thank you all so much for your kindness and a special thanks to Kazanne again who has been a rock to me through this as i said before.

Excellent news Joey :D So pleased he's enjoying being out just in time for the sunshine too :)
Dukes wound has healed lovely and it appears it was just a fatty mass so that's brilliant.

Great news Joey and Kizzy

I was dreaming about my dog Curly last night, he died a couple of years ago :(

joeysteele 27-04-2016 12:27 PM

Unfortunately and sadly, I lost my Dog on Monday afternoon, he had been doing really great but collapsed on Monday morning.
the VET says he has died from a stroke.

Obviously I am devastated but because so many wished him well on this thread and Kazanne and Mock were amazing supports to me at the time he was ill in the recent past,I felt I should post it here and thank you all again for your past really good and kind wishes.

Ninastar 27-04-2016 12:30 PM

Aw nooooooo  I'm SO sorry to hear that, Joey. I know how much it hurts to lose a pet and I bet you're in so much pain right now. Hope you feel better soon though <3
