Mock, I hate to break this to you but those are TV shows, they are works of fiction. I know this is probably going to be tough to hear but vampires don't actually exist.

They don't?:bawling:

The fact that it's creepy that people are into that type of storytelling? Or the fact that someone came up with the idea of a Human fancying someone that's dead in the first place?

Don't get me wrong dressing up as a Dog is creepy, but some of the most mainstream entertainment such as these Vampire Romance stories are also very creepy imo.

But, again, what does it have to do with anything?

We're talking fiction and reality here.

Not to mention in these shows, the dead people aren't corpses they're walking talking humans.

I remember a few years back when you would get those weirdos who would act like they were actually vampires and they get derided as much as these weirdos will be.

There's a difference between fantasy and reality. Someone lusting over an actor playing a vampire on a TV show isn't the same as people dressing up as animals and ****ing each other.

tbf I don't see why its assumed that it has to be a sexual thing. They might be attracted to imagining a sense of freedom, lack of responsibilities, a simpler life etc. Yeah it remains pretty weird but then loads of people get really into pretending to be historical figures, larping etc.

I agree people should be able to express themselves however they wish, as long as all concerned are consenting adults.

Are these people really Dogs then?

Both mediums do these things to unleash weird fantasies, but obviously it's not really Beastiality or Necrophilia if someone had sex with someone in a Dog costume, or a writer decided to show the Human ****ing an undead character.

And in the Vampire shows you're meant to believe that they don't have a pulse so in fictional terms the main Human character that has sex with them is a Necrophiliac.

I'm not talking about viewers fancying the Actors in real life, I'm talking about thinking and enjoying shows that have the "hero/heroine" having sex with someone that's dead?

I know that people can enjoy any shows they want, but it's still imo a creepy fetish like this Dog cosplay thing.

And seriously people pretended to be Vampires?

People don't watch Vampire Diaries because they want to **** a corpse.
