But no one's asking you to make it a bigger deal than someone losing their home?

She took 10 seconds out to ask them to take the camera and tripod down because it's not on. End of.

If it were Bieber people would be peddling the 'isn't he such a twat' line again

I hope this assumption doesn't include me :)

Hey we've agreed quite a few times lately.:nono::laugh:

It's not that I disagree with what she said, or even that she said it, just the way she did

But then again the woman is filming her on a bloody tripod so idk, I don't really care tbh...how is this even news?

I don't know who it includes, just that it would definitely happen from some people

Point out in my entire history on this Forum when I've been a hypocrite? I bet you won't even be able to find an example on this thread.:hehe:

Jack_ has a point about if it was a male singer like Justin/Ed Sheeran they will be loads of fumes.

You judge people for liking acts for their looks when you do the same all the time. :hee:

Marsh. 01-06-2016 05:54 PM

I just can't at comparing this to someone losing their home.

Is it dodgy what the Pirate is doing? Yes, is it criminal? Yes, but it's also pure greed when these Singers or Film Studios moan about losing £300,000 out of their overall £4million they've probably made off of the material due to Piracy.

And I don't dislike Adele, if anything I'm a bit indifferent to her as a person and I find her Music slightly dull, but nothing to moan about, I'm just actually doing this thing called an opinion that's different to TIBB's very odd ways of viewing the world which is wayyy too black and white which not everybody can follow the rules all of the time.

..I honestly don't think that it was about money, Mock...money that could potentially be made from the lady videoing her...I think it's more that her performance was being watched through a camera screen...which is a crazy thing to do when someone is lucky enough to be able to watch a live performance..and also very inconsiderate for all around her as well, to have a camera and tripod set up, which is very distracting and would mean some restrictions in movement of those close to her as well I would have thought..I thought she was quite gracious actually and slightly jokey about it but also pointing out that many people didn't have tickets who would have liked to..so to just enjoy what she had paid to watch....

Ross. 01-06-2016 05:55 PM

I feel I should've put this in serious debates

Off to round 2 of clutching at straws for you Marsh.:hee:

Ross. 01-06-2016 05:56 PM

I get what you're saying Ammi, and I agree that it would be annoying and distracting if someone was filming at the concert.

But this woman did actually pay to go to her concert so it's not like she's robbed Adele of her profit, and also sometimes controversially piracy can be a good thing because not every country has it easy to access foreign Music so if they catch this "illegal" copy of Adele's performance and they really like it they will become avid fans that will buy her Music.

We don't even actually know if this was down to a piracy issue.

Adele seemed more concerned that it was distracting the enjoyment of the woman and the people around her.

As she said, there's plenty other people who wanted to come in and couldn't so seeing as she's paid and got in, she might as well enjoy it as best she could.

I've never attacked anyone for having preferences in Music genres so how the **** does that make me a hypocrite?:umm2:

All I've ever said is that the person is actually competent within their Music genre instead of people just supporting solely off the fact that they do the genre that they like whilst they can't sing or perform.

If anything I've always been of the opinion that Music should be like this.

Most important - Genre
Second most important - Performance
Third most important - Vocal
The least important - Looks

...but everyone else at the concert paid as well though, Mock and she paid to watch the concert only../that's kind of the deal.......and for many that would be a once in a lifetime experience, so there was no consideration for them if her tripod was restricting their movement...would they have been able to dance and enjoy their evening or be worried of damaging the recording equipment..?...

Wrong as this was the first time I mentioned about someone losing a home.
