Channel 5 really do ****ing suck don't they

I'm definitely here for a member of the production team sending the complains directly to them, glad to hear they're on our side :joker:

Channel 5 have apparently confirmed no updates on the website on weekends

here for itv snatching bb (as if tho :( )

Good thing is some of the production team were around during the C4 days, so they've seen areas of production fall apart over the year, must be frustrating.

We know cost is nothing to do with the lack of live feed. They happily pay for music rights, OTT editing, showgirls/guys (I know they weren't on launch this year), huge extensions.

This all just stems to what many people have said before, it's so C5 can create a story, a drama to follow so it suits their agenda. C5 don't have the pulling power to make the next TOWIE or Geordie, so they are using Big Brother, an already established reality show, as a cover to create their own little story 'reality' show.

Wouldnt actually mind BB on ITV2, I mean if LI can get 1M views I don't see why BB couldn't be a success on ITV.

I'd perch a 2 hour night on ITV2, LI at 9, then BB at 10.

A few years ago I'd have been averse to censorship heavy ITV ever taking on Big Brother because I thought they'd water it down, but ITV2 have done such a good job with Love Island in terms of promotion and production that I'd definitely be up for them having the show

RichardG 10-06-2016 05:12 PM

I don't want to come across as really negative because i honestly do still love this show but I think we'd be very lucky for any channel to buy bb if it's axed, as a brand I think it's kinda dead in the uk now

maybe not cbb

Jack_ 10-06-2016 05:24 PM

Oh you're absolutely right, C5 have driven civilian BB so far into the ground that no network in the UK will ever touch it again

It's disgusting

TomC 10-06-2016 05:30 PM

So ITV2 wouldn't happen? Such a shame to know that I'll probably never see a classic series of BB.

Walter White 10-06-2016 05:33 PM

I've completely lost interest in CivBB now.

zakman440 10-06-2016 05:42 PM

Maybe if it rested for a few years ITV could scoop civilian BB for ITVBe (they'd probably want CBB for the main channel). Either that or Sky could take it seeing as Endemol Shine is owned by 21st Century Fox.

It was bad enough when people were suggesting airing it on ITV2
