Seemed a bit self-righteous IMO. I can see why he was dismissed... I mean, why he resigned from the BBC.

As usual with 'ghost' stories its All about the person telling. Its to make them more important in a group, to give them attention and allure.. A very human need.

That's a huge over-generalisation. How do you account for those who don't tell their stories? Or those who tell them because they feel the need to confide rather than be alone.

Well how does anybody account for those who don't tell their stories ?

How do you know they exist?

It gave Sam a bit of airtime sometimes I forget who he is a total waste of a housemate. That said Andy was trying to rationalise what Sams Mum believed was a sign. Personally I wouldn't do that. Let people believe what they want to believe and don't ridicule it. I have a different religion to most of my friends and we never try and convince each other to change what we believe. I don't think there was any need for Andy to scoff at Sams ghost story even if it seem far fetched

Andy did not scoff he just patiently explained that nothing supernatural happened and Sam threw a strop

rusticgal 17-06-2016 12:46 PM

Andy is entitled to his opinion....everyone sitting around taking it all in word for word with their mouths wide open!!
If you are someone who doesn't believe in that stuff then it's hard to sit and listen to without getting involved. He should have perhaps been a little less abrupt...but it's just Andys beliefs.
People get wound up on here that people don't speak up....and then they have a go if people don't say things to people's faces....
Good for Andy for saying his bit.

Rob! 17-06-2016 12:48 PM

He wasn't especially nice about it but I do kinda love how over it all Andy is already

BigBrotherfan4ever 17-06-2016 12:52 PM

Andy just had difference of opinion, & he said so, I don't see the big deal about it that everyone is making.

Jamie89 17-06-2016 01:31 PM

He's entitled to his opinion and his beliefs but there's a nice way of putting things across and a condescending arse way of putting things across. He seems like the kind of person who holds his own views above everyone else's and looks down on them for it. At least he apologised later on though... (right before nominations )

Yes unlike the diplomatic Sam

"are you calling my mum a liar?"

Crimson Dynamo 17-06-2016 02:29 PM

What is very dissapointing is that he was the only one there that had enough education not to sit and buy all the crapola

but :clap1: at Andy for nailing that bearded twat's fabrications

I wasn't comparing him to Sam, I was just sharing my thoughts on Andy. But yes, he seems like an idiot too. :hee:

I'd love Andy to hijack all Ghost Haunting shows.

Yvette Fielding: "I'm getting something, it's a young girl who...

Andy: Bollocks MATE!

Marsh. 17-06-2016 06:22 PM

It's amazing how many sh*t Sam's they've had on BB over the years.

hot2go 17-06-2016 07:13 PM

If the ghost stories had been an isolated incident then Andy may not have found it quite so frustrating....but, as he already said, he's already listened to their inane superficial rubbish for two weeks....he's prob been waiting for them to talk about something other than fake tan, expensive cars and how important they are in the night club circuit and when they finally do it's about ghosts....he's starved of any intelligent conversation and prob resents the lot of em

Meah I would have to disagree. Even if he was he doesn't need to act all pretentious and up himself it just isn't likeable. Also I don't know why he expected to have deep conversations with people he's known a week, everyone is still in that shallow convo stage of when you first meet people like I don't really open up to people until I'm comfortable. i mean I get his frustration with the likes of Marco but lateysha, Georgina and Jason all seem quite like people you can have a decent chat with.

Being honest doesn't mean you have to be arrogant and try and belittle somebody else's opinion and beliefs.

When someone's opinions and beliefs include believing in ghosties and poltergeists, their nonsense should be challenged and shown to be laughable.

If that is belittling them, then that is THEIR fault for being akin to illiterate airheads with no education.

Let's get rid of this bs where everyone has to give credence to anyone who has an uneducated opinion on the most basic subjects, even though their intellect makes them look as thick as a post.

Some people are too thick to voice opinions. Let's face it, and stop putting them all on BB.

And it was total s hite?

You religious types need to realise that other people think your delusions deserve to be shown up at times.

Ammi 18-06-2016 06:00 AM

..I like Andy, he's one of my favourites but it was just one of those conversations/stories that wasn't really to be taken seriously in the way that he did...

He has good reason to be self-righteous around sly unintelligent wannabes like Sam....I don't know how he waited 2 weeks before confronting the snidy little fraud ....I'm just surprised no one else has seen thru him......so far Andys one of the few who's honest and brave enough to confront anyone.
I'm also glad he didn't let Georgina get away with being two faced last night....id say he has balls but it don't think he even remotely feels nervous about doing it.

hot2go 18-06-2016 06:05 AM

Losing his job at the BBC backs up what a strong guy he is and it deserves respect but it's not relevant to his time in the house

Beso 18-06-2016 06:10 AM

should ghosts get a vote on eu

You're right, it isn't a big deal.....Andy was right .....imagine having two weeks of listening to Sams sh-t and knowing you could have another 6 weeks of listening to Sams **** ....I'm only surprised Andy waited two weeks ...i would have called him out on how foney he is within first few days.

It's the paranormal ffs plenty of people believe in it. I do myself and I'm far from thick and I dont believe Sam is either.

You seem as judgemental as Andy.
