Not sure I get this line of thinking tbh? Everyday they have had stupid tasks like refusing food which they are obviously going to do. It seems actually the house has some kind of agreement that if its people 'real life' things to do it...as they seem happy for each other (generally). These things add points so people can take if they want to...

Also, kids were never going to go in. Not sure where that idea has came from...it would be massively cruel to the child and I can't see any parent wanting it either

all Emma cares about is getting her pussy slammed by a man who will leave her when he has better offers

I think it's been blown slightly out of proportion to be honest.
I don't think she really considered that it might mean someone else not seeing a loved one, it was shortsightedness more than it was selfishness. I mean yes there was some selfishness involved, but not to an extent that makes her a selfish person, just someone who like any of us will occasionally act on emotions, and do something for selfish reasons, but honestly who never has?
And her 'selfish act' was out of love, so it doesn't make her less likeable to me. It's pretty relatable actually, anyone who's been in love will act in selfish ways sometimes because your emotions can take over (I suppose the extent will depend how driven by emotions someone is). But BB set that situation up as a way to try and emotionally manipulate them, and she reacted to it how she did because she's a very emotionally driven person. (Look how quickly she pressed the buzzer... she wasn't thinking it through, she was using her heart not her head.) So yeah I guess she's flawed in that respect, if that's a flaw.
I just don't view the situation as being a big deal at all anyway though, since the consequence is losing points in a shopping task. Let's be real, they'll all get the opportunity to see their loved ones regardless, BB wants the footage. So it would be a shame if she is now 'doomed' over something so trivial. The only possible outcome of Emma's actions will be that they might have a lower shopping budget, which I couldn't care less about (how selfish of me :hehe:) in fact I fully support it if it means more shots of Josh's body/Josh in the bath/Josh in bed etc... you see where I'm going with this lol...

..yeah totally, Sassy...I don't think that it shows her as selfish but more that she's capable of selfish acts sometimes and are we not all...selfish is also self-preserving and self-survival etc and such the like and I think that a balance of 'selfishness' is essential as well..it's when that balance is tipped and someone has a tendency to be selfish frequently which she isn't...I still adore her..her spirit because it says to me that she's someone who acts from her heart and with her heart and 'gameplay' doesn't come into it at all for her...there was no thought, there was just feeling in her decision...

Eh? Jason had just explained their rationale at not pressing the button and how it might affect the rest of the house in great detail and she said she understood their reasonings when he followed her to the storeroom

The rationale Jason explained was that they had already had a night with their bf's and other people hadn't yet, and so the people who hadn't might feel jealous having to see other people have the experience twice before they get to have their own, there was no mention of the possibility that other people might not get to experience it at all. In fact Jason even said "we'd only lose 5 points" so it's more than reasonable to assume that they wouldn't have considered it likely that they'd lose enough points to stop other people having their experience, considering how many points they have, and how many HM's are waiting to have their experience.

Jason & co should have pressed the button as it would have only lost 5 points.
Because they didn't it cost the house 15 points by Emma pressing her button.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing

I think you'll find having the words " She Needs " and " Selfish " in the same sentence says it all

I agree, it's all Jason's fault really [emoji23]

I dont know, I think shes still the lesser of 14 evils. Its not like theyre gonna be 15 points away from winning the shopping task, theyre gonna be 80ish away. I think her, Hughie and Jackson holds the most realistic chances of winning at the moment.
