Not ALL young people are seduced by weaves, silicone implants, fake tans, and those with the IQ of a peanut. Some are quite discerning.

No lol, i just noticed his fans of fb are on average a lot older. (I also noticed Jacksons fans being female, although surprising alex had a lot of male fans).

In any other highlights show I wouldnt have been as annoyed as yes they all have an off day but with such a brilliantly funny show tonight Jason stood out like a sore thumb. I still like him but I was really really annoyed at the way he behaved tonight. I am sure he will be safe as I know he will definitely be up. Jackson is my least favourite but tonight he was funny where as Jason was one of my favourites and tonight he was NOT. peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I've noticed this too

I think you are being a bit hard on him. He isn't a performing seal! I think sometimes are just being themselves and that doesn't mean they have to be the life of the party if they don't feel like it.

I'm a bit disappointed in Jason myself as a VIEWER mainly because I feel he doesn't have the courage of his own convictions. He seems to need so much validation. Own who you evit or nominate to evict, hold your head high and get on with it.
But then I'm not in there taking the flak so it's easy for me to say...

He's still my 2nd fave, but he better gee himself up...:fist:

ok.

I did not state that AJ. I said that; "Not ALL young people..." meaning specifically that there ARE some young people who DO support Jason or indeed Jayne - on MERIT, rather than blindly supporting an HM because they are young and 'relevant', no matter what type of superficial human they may be.

I have bent over backwards on these BB threads NOT to be personal with members and to confine my comments and opinions to the HM's - who are 'fair game' on a BB discussion forum.

I deleted two posts because I know that I had strayed into attacking an HM for the wrong reasons, and it upset you, and I stopped posting on another thread when I saw that you were outnumbered.

I do, however, detect a 'personal' issue creeping into your post now, and it is a shame.

I like and support Jason just as you do not, but I do not dislike you - or any other member - for disliking Jason. What I took exception to in the post of Withano's is his use of the word 'Oldies' in a disparaging tone, as if being 'old' is something to be mocked, and the 'oldies' are not capable of forming views based on intellectual perception, but instead are swayed by 'puppy dog eyes' and other superficialities.

My dig at 'weaves' was my way of saying that some young people are more likely to be swayed by superficialities in HM's THEY identify with - 'SOME' not all.

Well he has stood by his convictions...but it must be hard in there with only Andy supporting him and then the boos....
Hopefully he will come good tomorrow...:wavey:

You don't usually seem to go off your favs fast.

Jaxie I went back to check my housemate rankings just to prove that I really did like Jason I was annoyed the night he was giving out constantly to Laura and Evelyn about breaking the rules even thought they had apologised a few times and he NEVER spoke to the other rule breakers Chelsea and Ryan but other than that he was ranked very well after the first few highlights shows when I didnt really know him

I dont do rankings every night so these are the ones I did
He was 14 out of 18 housemates at first then
8 out of 18
7 out of 17
4 out of 17
5 out of 16
3 out of 16
3 out of 16
3 out of 15
6 out of 15
4 out of 14
2 out of 14 !!!
9 out of 11 (the night he was giving out to the two girls)

I have said many positive things about him and I really really disliked Charlie she was bottom of the pile for ages. I was just very disappointed in him tonight

Well said Rustical.

Not everyone is stoical or philosophical, and not everyone reacts to being ostracised or shunned in the same way. Jason is obviously a socially akward person, a worrier, and has a psychological need to feel 'accepted'.

In the 'real' world, he can CHOOSE where to go, whose company he wishes to enjoy etc etc, but in the microcosm that is the BB House, he has not got that freedom of choice, and - socially akward or not - he HAS to 'fit in', even if that means prostituting his principles to a degree and being 'fake', or he has to ACCEPT being isolated.

Over-analysing and worrying about the aftermath of the decisions which he has made, is pure folly.

Cherie 17-07-2016 11:22 PM

I think he wants to come across as the isolated underdog

We see it differently and that's fine. :hee:

BB is swings and roundabouts. One day someone is flavour of the day in there, the next they are in the doghouse - we just never know what will happen next and that's why it's compulsive viewing. I bet Jason and Hughie will be talking again before long and it'll all blow over. I hope they all enjoy their last week to the max and have a ball - if BB will let them!

...yeah, very much this also are my thoughts...(and Withano/Armand and Hayden I agree also..)...it's been his thing from the beginning really, it was the same with Charlie when she was enjoying fun times with the housemates...he always sat apart or seemed to...I don't think that he gets 'isolated' or left or whatever, I think he isolates himself... and tries to show himself as a 'victim'...I do think that Hughie is being a bit childish in not talking to him but then, the reasons that Jason gave were quite serious in what they were saying about Ryan's character...and someone who genuinely them to be true and is painting themselves as 'moral' as Jason seems to be, would have said something at the time directly to Ryan...so in a way, the irony of Hughie's 'silence' now and Jason's silence then..rather than to 'let go' with something he apparently felt strongly about and then state it as a reason to help evict someone..he's just not being honest in saying that he's playing a tactical game because that would be quite a risky thing to do...

...anyways, I don't think that he was just having a 'down day' either...I think that he was someone who is worrying about 'losing control' in his gameplay...looking back on things now, he's someone I think that very much thrives on control ..the only times I've seen him really show emotions and 'react' are things like when he felt that Charlie was talking about him/discussing their relationship and he told her to stop...that's another thing...:fist:...'that confused messages' with him and Charlie...maybe her confusion was that although he may not have wanted her as a partner anymore, maybe he thrived a bit on controlling her emotions'...so confusing her constantly in thinking that he cared for her..?...hmmm, it's a thought....

...anyways, it'll be interesting to see how he is this week because he didn't get the assurances from Andy that I think he hoped for because I think even Andy is becoming very confused by him now as well...

Vanessa 18-07-2016 09:50 AM

He was just feeling down. The others have all had times where they were feeling low. Andy was like that the whole time. The reason he has perked up is to avoid nominations. Otherwise he's usually a right miserable sod
