They all have good and bad points. It shouldn't be the case that if we have a favourite they are defended no matter what they do, and others are criticised or slagged off horrendously for the slightest thing. More balance is needed! Some people on here are like politicians putting so much spin on events that I'm surprised they don't topple over! |
Hughie wasn't bitching at all about Jason. I liked their talk in the garden.

Jason in the garden was trying to help Hughie. Do you think if Hughie had been played a clip of Jason doing the same that Hughie would be trying to help Jason ?, no he would be freaking out & getting the entire house to gang up on Jason. |

In terms of my 'slagging off' comment, if you read it again, you will see that I was talking about his fans, rather than Jason. |

I said I was never a Jason fan but these past few weeks he has had everything thrown at him yet he is not allowed to defend himself without being called aggressive. Others get away with being bitchy about him yet I don't see him doing the same thing. Most of the hate he gets are still pissed off Lateysha fans who still think she had the "right" to win the show. |

Despite the row with both Andy and Jason, Hughie didn't say anything after, in fact, he sat with them in the smoking area and they had a nice conversation. There is no maliciousness in that house like certain years. No one actually dislikes each other. They have rows and then hug it out and talk to each other,. Imagine Aisleyne and Grace hugging it out... :joker: Or Makosi and Saskia... :joker: |

That's not nice is it ?. Do you really think that Sam & Hughie like Jason ?. No, they hate him. When they have rows & then hug it's called being fake & not wanting to get nominated or come across as nasty. Fake. |
Haven't read through the thread, but I look at it this way. Andy and Jason in experience and time alone have much more authority, command and confidence in their own POV than most of the other house (aside from probably Jayne).
Hughie, for all his screaming, kicking and yelling comes across as a younger less experienced fellow so no doubt Jason is going to appear "aggressive" in gunning him down for his opinion. He's seriously outmatched. That's because Jason has a stronger command of not only his speech, but he knows his character and has a larger self-awareness due to this experience and that alone can end the debate hence Hughie and the others needing to counter it with their "charisma". Typical young versus old. As much as I don't care for how Jason and Andy are choosing to play the game (and it just comes down to entertainment preferences for me), the others are intimidated when they speak because not only can they carry the entire conversation away from them, but they carry it in a forthright and assertive manner that if left unchallenged reads very well to the public... Most of those that remain outside of Jason and Andy are not as confident as they purport themselves to be... so of course they're may resort to saying they feel "bullied" in order to find some relief from the two. I'm surprised Jason hasn't been labeled as "oppressive" yet since he's broadcasted his view(s) on how freely Evelyn and Laura have expressed their sexuality in the house. Maybe because they don't want to have that argument given the way Marco was received by the public... |

And he wasn't laughed at. People as always spoke over each other. That's not malicious, that's just annoying. Its the final few days, they just want to get along. |

Please tell me where Jason was specifically laughed at? No one even piped up apart from Sam. They all wanted the last word. Cabbage |

It seems some people on this DISCUSSION forum don't understand what discussion means. Sometimes it's like you're not allowed to express your views unless you agree with those of certain forum members. Well done, mazedsalv, for daring to put forward a more balanced appraisal of events. This is TIBB, not TIJB! |
