I agree...her condescending attitude has turned people against her. Then when the tables turn she plays the victim. Saira will never accept the fact that she may be in the wrong...if she did she would get more respect.
I am not condoning the behaviour of Bear and Marnie..sounds like they took it too far.

speaking as a white british person, for non-white british people need to understand that white british people perfer to stay within are group, or not move out of the circle and we do all the same things, and feel more comfortable with it, where as south asian women are from a culture that is both alien and reserved, what if next years house has all the females from south asian backgrounds and with three south asian guys and three white males, think how that would backfire with a race and culture divided, and what would white british guys crave more than having drink and white girls in the house, and the dietary for eating would cause problems too, the problem is that south asian women tend to look down on others and having people from a reserved culture would never fit into the house, saira definitely has that culture norm of quick to judge and then puts her foot into it with a condescending attitude,

Apparently sentence structure isn't apart of white British culture either :nono:

Exactly.I noticed this too.She was a bitch to everyone and then when she got called out she played victim. She also can't comprehend that she might be at fault.

I don't really remember the other ones but this one is boring my balls off.

I don't think it's racism (this series), it's just that she's so different from the young group and I can see that she feels like they don't like her so she tries to know them better but she does it in the wrong way. It's just a culture clash.
However the young group hatred for her could leads to them making racist remarks.

Nicky from BB8 was pretty popular in the house before she started causing petty arguments. Hira and Benezair wwere generally well liked within their series by housemates too, it was the public support that was lacking.

To echo most in the thread - I think Shilpa and Deana are the only instances of people being ostracised just because of their race.

Could we for once just try to look at the persons personality and not what race they are and so on.

She's a bit full on is Saira, she can come across very rude and condescending at times, anyone can see that with what we are shown but as usual they choose to ignore that and blame other things on her being disliked.
