Him and Bear are not nice people.

And they will keep pushing people until they break. I bet Lewis and Chloe can't wait for this task to end

I think Heavy D is a bit simple, (remedial)

..I don't know, as grim as he is and has behaved...I somehow feel that he's still not 'malicious' or a mean person...he seems quite anxious to me, almost 'hyper'...and I wonder how much is said and done with just no thought at all and also with his size etc...?...if he's experienced bullying and targeting himself so if he is surrounded by or there is a 'squad' type gang around, he'll immediately and instinctively become one of them to deflect any targeting of himself ..so become an awful/grim person himself...I don't know, I just can't quite dislike him as such because I feel there are some huge emotional issues there...(and maybe always laughed at and dismissed by the 'pretty/popular girls' as well, hence his reactions to Chloe if he's felt 'rejected' on National TV..)...

Can't stand Heavy out of Lewis, Bear & Heavy, Heavy winds me up twice as much Lewis or Bear do .....tbh

I really hate him, him and bear are so awful to watch and making me hate this season. Heavy D calling a female 'that' and he comes across as obsessive over Chloe. Renee telling him he needs to get over it was the only good thing she has done.

Vanessa 04-08-2016 03:52 PM

He thinks Chloe is his girlfriend and Bear betrayed him :umm2:

caprimint 04-08-2016 03:58 PM

He's awful. He turned into everything I imagined he'd be. He takes 'jokes' too far but can't handle it when it's flipped around and they're at his expense. I imagine him being aggressive too in arguments, he looked like he wanted to hit Bear re: the bed situation (even though he had no evidence Bear did anything - which he did not).

Vanessa 04-08-2016 04:01 PM

Bear was right when he told him : you can give it, but you can't take it! :hee:

LukeB 04-08-2016 04:02 PM

Chloe needs a restraining order after CBB

Liam- 04-08-2016 04:04 PM

I find him to be like a little boy lost, trying to fit in with the 'cool kids' of the playground, I don't think he's malicious, nor do I think he means to come across as aggressive and even though him asking Chloe to scrub his undercrackers was distasteful, I can't help but like him, I think if he could tear himself away from the bullies and be his own person then he'll come into his own and be amazing.

Vanessa 04-08-2016 04:05 PM

His attitude to women is disgusting. No wonder he's single :fist:

a blend of these covers pretty much how i feel about him.

plus, towards the beginning, when he was chilling with some of the less obnoxious ones he was speaking rationally and what he was saying showed he was capable of analysing situations and breaking stuff down.. not sure what's happened to that ability now though! if he'd drop the boorish BOOM stuff i think there's a lot more to this person.

and you know what else? i love how he stood up to bear and wasn't intimidate by him when D thought bear had wrecked the bed. and i do believe he has a good heart because he always tries to rectify the mistakes he makes as soon as possible. doesn't appear to be one to bear grudges either; i don't think him telling chloe to wash his pants was about grudge-bearing or rejection but about what he thought he was meant to be doing in the task i.e demoralising the opposition in order to win. would the artificals have lost points by refusing to do what the humans told them to? if so, his ploy was to ask them to do things they'd baulk at.

He's hilarious. For all the wrong reasons. I will copy my response from another thread

Quote:

To add to the wall of negativity here, I have to add that I have a difficult time taking his antics so seriously. He is just so put on.

Underneath that exterior lives a miserable man-child desperately craving attention and acceptance among the "cool" crowd. His behavior to me is the definition of overcompensation. He laughs because he thinks he's smart enough to get away with it. He is not.

Everything he does seems to follow a script, it's like he's planning out his response(s) to get a desired reaction. He doesn't actually pay that much attention to what is said or in the very least, doesn't think very heavily (pun intended) about what his answers should be. I get the impression he is actually fairly naive and insecure around other people and the tough guy/crude-ness act is just a cover.

Agree with this pretty much completely. I think he has very serious insecurities

Bear and Lewis are actually 100x worse than him and genuinely malicious. He sees this and puts on a big front. Heavy D doesn't really seem to believe most of what comes out of his mouth, though what he says that he thinks is not a big deal shows a lot of insensitivity and poor judgement.... Makes me wonder what he thinks of the public who watches the show who will be voting.

Even if this is true, its not an excuse for how hes spoken to chloe (i am not saying you are saying that i am just clarifying) also he needs to learn how to take rejection because personally i would find it scary being on the receiving end of his anger

its a real shame because i was rooting for him on launch night (yes even in the face of BOOM) because like i said in another thread he seems like a laugh, but after all thats happened it just seems, like most people, he has a nasty side.

Beso 04-08-2016 08:43 PM

He will turn a corner, you'll see.
