The producers couldn't make it anymore obvious that they pick and choose who to eject and who to give warning too. They obviously care more about public opinion of the show than other housemates safety.

He's probably made offensive comments since the bisexual thing whereas Renee hasn't.

Tbf with a lot of ejections they seem to come out of the blue, or from a Facebook post from 2012

Both Tila and Jeremy are crazy so their ejections weren't too shocking

Plus Biggins was the re-show fave to win and was generally loved by the public so it's surprising he got removed :joker:

Anyway they must be rubbing their hands together. They've saved money no longer having to pay their most expensive housemate the full amount and they'll get loads of publicity for throwing the actual Christopher Biggins out of the actual Big Brother house.

Still fav today

I can no longer follow the madness of this show. A gay guy got kicked out because he made comments that might offend who? Bisexuals?

The world has collectively lost its marbles.

Epic. 05-08-2016 06:56 PM

Wow. With Biggins gone I have no clue who could win now. M E S S.

have to say, what he said must have been pretty bad given what BB have let others away with this year .... can't wait for the details

Spit in people's food? ✓
Act aggressively towards fellow housemates? ✓
Smash mirrors, break doors and fixtures? ✓
Say something in free speech that *might* cause offence? ✗

y.winter 05-08-2016 06:58 PM

What? Where is this coming from?

It must be serious if they removed him. Or they becoming PC with the LGBT audience.

Not surprised and not unhappy either

Not really. You can get away with all of that. But you mustn't say anything that could be construed as "Hate Speech". You know, like bisexuals are just people who can't make up their minds. That sort of thing might offend someone.

It's funny how it's only things that might offend a particular Guardian reading worldview seem to matter to them though isn't it? The fact it's the biggest luvvie going who has offended them is hilarious to me.

Winston McKenzie's impact?

Why is Marnie a favourite ffs....

Jason was never favourite to win even on the final day....this isn't by any means cut and dried..

Cal. 05-08-2016 07:01 PM

What people are ejected for is normally far less serious than what it's hyped up to be.

hot2go 05-08-2016 07:02 PM

The backlash to his bi comment was gonna be a problem for the show....if he had explained himself a bit more it may not have blown up so big but he either didn't or we weren't shown it if he did.

Thing is with this series there's hardly anyone who could swoop in there and take the win from her. Most of them are characters that the public strongly dislike. Marnie has a huge fanbase behind her and I can't see any of the others managing to get such a big one behind them anytime soon.

I predict a Marnie/Lewis/James top 3 however - so if someone else was to win I reckon it'd be Lewis or James.

What backlash? Nobody gave a **** outside of a few twats on twitter.

He's probably said something racist the more I think about it.

Yeh she could ....popular in and out of the house

If he's been removed for simply stating an opinion on something, then that's beyond ridiculous, it would be a different story if he's said something morally offensive to someone, time will tell, but in my view, opinions shouldn't get someone ejected, actions should.

The Daily Star are reporting that it was a Nazi joke in a conversation with Katie:

Quote:

CHRISTOPHER Biggins has been removed from the CBB house after just a week allegedly after making a joke about concentration camps.

Biggins made the insensitive joke in conversation with Jewish housemate Katie Waissel.

She was left in tears and the house was in shock.

In a statement released by Big Bro, it has been confirmed that Biggins was removed due to offensive comments.

"Big Brother has taken the decision to remove Christopher Biggins from the Celebrity Big Brother house," the statement read.

"Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public."

"Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence. Christopher Biggins has left the house."

Biggins caused outrage when he commented that bisexual people were the "worst type of people".

In a conversation with Renee, they called on bisexual people to "pick a team".
