|
Chris of course I wasn't looking,I was busy shopping/being a history nerd!
It was amazing Andy,so much history behind it. |
Wow really
Hope ye had a great time |
Glad you had a good time.
I went Belgum last year and there was loads to it. It was freezing, dirty and discusting. I refused to do anything. The grave yards were scary too, especially the big one with the thousands of white graves. |
Only foreign place I went with the school was France  We stayed in Ribemont and went to Paris and Ypres. It was fun, but the year I left they offered other foreign trips like to Barcelona and China. I so totally missed out.
|
My school sucks! We never have foreign trips. But I did go to Italy 3 years ago (when I was in year 8). It took us two boring days on a coach to get there! We went through Wales, England, France, Swizerland and then Italy. We went to Venice (Went on a gondila and shopped), Verona (to see Romeo & Juliet's balcony, Juliet's tomb and some old arena), a themepark (I hate rides, so I just went on the kiddie rides) and these two islands. I was really depressed at the time. I was really homesick and I cried every night :(.
Anyway... Laura and Ash, is our trip to France still on? |

It was ok. I was just depressed all through it!
It was a week long, and 4 days were wasted on traveling:mad: But it was cool going on the gondila boat and on R&J's balcony |
Were R&J real then? What was it like?
|
I'm really not sure if they are real or not...But I think they are:bigsmile:
We went to Juliet's tomb aswell, where she was burried. Umm.. it's hard to explain what the place was like, but I have pics so I'll scan them for you. I'll have to ask my dad to connect the scanner with the computer when he gets back from work. But in the balcony area all over the walls there are love messages from people and pictures, and there's a Juliet statue and you have to touch her boob for good luck of something :| |
:|
Lmao, that seems so cool. I'm watching Romeo and Juliet in English so I'm really interested with it all right now. You're luckyy. |
hehe.. Lucky me:bigsmile:
You in year 10? I did R&J work in year 10, and watched the old video. It was boring so we watched the modern one. |
Yeah, I'm year 10.
We've watched both versions, but they're surprisingly good. Didn't think they'd interest me. I'm in a strop now cause I want to go and see the tomb and balcony. Is her body still there? |
the old 1 is boringgggggggggggg i prefer the new 1
|
Yea. We saw the concrete cofin that her body is in. It was pretty creepy because it was really dark down there. Loads of tourist write notes on the walls and stuff and messages on post-its. Really surreal.
