There was some low key comedy in Stephs extreme lack of self awareness and genuine belief that everyone else was somehow to blame for her actions.

The OP suggests why it isn't a good series when you have to rely on Gemma Collins for entertainment.

Just like CBB18 with Bear really.

BB5 and BB6 was also very fun/funny series too, they weren't just about mundane arguments with no wit whatsoever.

And the Showmances in those years were much more entertaining as well, even the horrifying Cranthony.:joker:

She was charismatic in the weirdest way. She was so tragic and "messy xx" (as you like to put it) I couldn't help but love her. She was hilarious and honestly she doesn't even do anything that bad, the hate for her is ridiculous.

Steph's only good moment was when BB threw her out the Diary room so they could bring Megan in.

Gemma breaking down in tears thinking she's pregnant, saying she's excited, and then later on being all relieved and happy about the revelation that she is in fact not pregnant will forever make me laugh

Hell, I'd rather watch Ken Morley harass Patsy Kensit again over those two nothings.

Katia and Basshunter is a massive who, Chantelle and Preston was cute and all but much like Pete and Nikki it's an empty storyline and Danica and co was okay but Lee, Jasmine and Casey did the same thing a thousand times better a few series later

I understand the opposition to showmances but they can have a purpose, the only time they're interesting is when they're messy (see: Chiggy, Steverly)

Thought it was great. It's my 3rd fave CBB on 5 behind 13 and 9.

I loved CBB17, the only thing I thought was disastrous really was the awful eviction results and you can't blame anyone for that other than the people who vote/don't vote

I think all the ingredients were there, we were given so of the best housemates for years but the voters or non voters messed it up.

• Jeremy should have gone over Nancy in the 2nd eviction
• Megan should have survived her eviction, Daniella or Jeremy should have gone
• Gemma should have stayed over Daniella in her eviction (even though I never liked Gemma she was a much more deserving finalist than Daniella and even John, Darren and Scott tbf)
• Tiffany only coming 4th is a joke and the fact Darren Day was above her when he was irrelevant is harrowing

The series is amazing, but like Amy Jade said, Tiffany only coming 4th left a really sour taste in my mouth.

Unfortunately I couldn't vote, but to see her have so much support throughout the series, and then for dullard Darren Day and Stephanie (who was hated all series and then had a redemption arc come out of nowhere) to pip her to the post was just devastating. Scotty T was also a gormless idiot and an extremely poor winner too.

With that being said, the series had so many iconic moments, and although Tiffany was undoubtedly the star, there were still many different characters giving us great entertainment each night (mental Megan, Angie's breakdown, Gemma's behaviour in general).

CBB17 is such a well-rounded series, I don't get how people can like the show if they didn't enjoy it. It had everything a good series has to offer.

I didn't even mind the whole Jeremy/Stephanie aspect of the series. It was good in a 'watch between your fingers' kind of way, since she literally had a boyfriend on the outside that she seemed to not give a **** about :p They're relationship outside of the show is obviously tragic, though.
