idk I get it a bit in my lips sometimes too. I thought it was to do with the fact that you're a bit numb to pain when you're drunk

when i was in London in media on a friday we would have a bottle and a half at lunch, hide a bottle in the cistern at work and drink it in the afternoon and get on it at 5 till the wee small hours

wake up at 12 on a sat battered

:omgno:

That was one thing I noticed about London, people drank a lot on their lunch breaks. People over here don't drink at all on their lunch breaks (not that I have seen much of anyway) which is odd since we're the ones with the drinking reputation

Yeah sam with me it's not exactly pins and needles but thats the closest way of describing the sensation.

Wine is probably my least favourite thing to get drunk on because I just feel sleepy and ready to binge.

I love wine but I only drink it with a meal or if I'm watching Tv and planning to sleep soon after anyway

Vicky. 07-09-2016 06:56 PM

Wine gives me the hangover from hell, even a couple of glasses

Malibu on the other hand, I can down that straight and just get nicely tipsy and no effects the next day

Malibu is too expensive to drink out though..3 quid odd for a tiny sip of it drowned in coke :bored:

Most alcohol tastes vile so when I'm drinking it's to be drunk

Vicky. 07-09-2016 07:13 PM

When I was much younger (and a bit stupider) we all used to buy this cider called whitestar. It was ****ing vile, and we would down the whole bottle by holding our noses so we couldn't taste it :D

all drink is ethanol

what you cloak it in is the drinks market but its one chemical compound

whisky, beer, sherry, bluwkd, lambrini

its all ethanol diluted and flavoured

My parents have an excessive amount of alcohol in their little booze room so growing up I would just grab a bottle from their and hope they don't notice so I wasnt even sure at the time what I was bringing to all those yr 9 parties and midnight park outings

Cider is gross mind I had it for the first time when I met up with Stacey and Dan last year and I ended up with my face in dan's toilet for a bit now just the smell makes me wanna heave.

Vicky. 07-09-2016 07:21 PM

I don't mind woodpecker as long as there is blackcurrant in it. Strongbow I can handle in small amounts too. But the cheap cider (or gut rot..as we used to call it) was just gross

I once nicked a bottle of vodka from my mums stash...transferred it to another bottle and filled the vodka bottle up with water..expecting her not to notice :umm2:

I would sometimes get a empty water bottles and just fill it up with a cocktail of different spirits and a bit of juice so it wasn't an obvious decline.

Jay. 07-09-2016 07:52 PM

i drink to get tipsy then once i'm tipsy i'm like 'i need to drink the whole bottle plus more'

i can't go out out until i'm almost completely ****ed

Daniel. 07-09-2016 07:59 PM

I drink to get drunk

MTVN 07-09-2016 08:05 PM

I drink to be sociable, to unwind and to pass the time. I don't drink to get drunk although that does seem to end up happening on Fridays and Saturdays for some reason

Same, being drunk can be a lot of fun! Doesn't mean I need to be drunk to have fun, I think that's where there's issues for some people. But it's just like anything else that's fun, you might not need to do it, but why not!

If I was out or at a party I would drink bottles of beer because I could drink that for longer without getting really drunk

Me, I could handle hangovers 10 years ago, not now so tipsy is fine, drunk is not

Babayaro. 07-09-2016 09:33 PM

Yes, I get drunk on purpose and it feels great :)

Babayaro. 07-09-2016 09:35 PM

I've only ever been sick twice due to alcohol too :hee:

Firewire 07-09-2016 09:43 PM

Yeah I drink to get drunk but it's not often

Having one or two is pointless, I'd rather take the car

andybigbro 07-09-2016 10:04 PM

If I'm on a night out I like to get tipsy.

I used to get smashed all the time when I was younger but now I don't see the point and regret the hangover.

Marsh. 07-09-2016 10:07 PM

Only drinking to get drunk is bizarre to me.

Like, does nobody just enjoy drinking alcohol? A couple of pints? A glass of wine? etc just to wind down?
