I don't know whether to be amused or disgusted that you seem to be comparing all Muslims and people from Islam to Daleks. They're not going to different countries to racially cleanse the land. 95% of refugees at least are trying to make a better life for themselves. I would challenge you to live in the conditions they have had to and still have to and see if you blame them for trying to escape and improve their lives. There is a small percentage of very dangerous people out there that are trying to cause terror, promote hatred and murder innocent people. Incidentally there was another group of people who did that who called themselves christians. They wore things over their faces too so I assume all christians must be members of the KKK. What a terrifying thought.

And incidentally, both those adverts are trying to encourage tolarence. That could not be clearer.

I don't see much wrong with the ad either, although it is quite finger jabbing, but for those attacking the government for it its worth pointing out that the ad was put out by an independent NGO and has nothing to do with the Swedish government

The ad says this to me: Your country and your culture is going to change forever. Get used to it. We know you didn't vote for this, no one asked you if this is what you wanted, but this is what you've got because a minority of people decided it... so get on with it. Don't worry that Germany, an advocate of bringing everyone in is now building fences to keep them out. Oh, and if you speak out against it, you're a racist and a xenophobe - because we say you are.

Culture is an evolving thing, each generation (with or without inside influence) brings change.

Sweden isn't going to change dramatically just because of immigration. It's nothing but an illogical fear. Again, it's just plain silly because all these doomsayers that act like we're all doomed to become Syria always fail to consider the vast number of non-muslims in each western country. What happens to these hundreds of millions of people in this doomed future? They won't vote for things like Shariah Law. Military or political coups are an impossibility due to the fact that extremists simply wouldn't have the numbers required in positions of power to make a difference plus a military coup would fall on it's arse simply because there isn't a huge muslim presence in most western armies, never mind an extreme presence.

Finally, why would most Muslims WANT the west to become Syria 2.0? Lots of immigrants want to escape extremism so it's silly to assume they want to set up shop in Europe in order to be ruled over by extremists once again. Muslims, like most people, enjoy their freedoms. To suggest that a large enough part of the Muslim population in any western country wants things like Shariah Law in effect is just plain unrealistic.

It's just a silly fear brought on by prejudice. There's no realistic way in which Islamic extremism can overtake a western country and none of the people who think it's a possibility will ever offer up a way in which it could.

while you are quite right in what you say. The video is put over in a very 1984 ish way, where there is to be no debate, people must accept it, because that's how its going to be. So one could argue that its but the first in a series of videos directing how people will hence forth behave.

I can't take the video seriously. It has no place in a democracy.

At the end of the day, it's just an ad and not even one from a source with any sway over anything. I have no issue with it but it's ultimately not going to change hearts or minds so it's pointless to take it seriously.

I don't see the ad referring directly to Syria. Refugees are not only from Syria. The majority I would say are from North Africa. And yes, Culture evolves... but it evolves gradually. In the last 20 years European countries have changes drastically, and the Far Right have risen, like it always does when people force their will on others. No one asked the people of any given country whether they want to allow their own culture to take a back seat while we all celebrate diversity. And by diversity, they mean, Islam.

DONT let islam spread. It is the biggest disease in the world. They always play the victim role, they ****ed up too many countries and now they want europe gone. They are vicious and they wont care about anybody, we tolerated this radical islam here in turkey now they took over the country and they are kicking young girls because of their dressing and they dont even get arrested.

The far right have risen because it happens every few years, the self entitled majority act like they've been done wrong because they secretly wish to be oppressed and they support stupid short sighted notions like Brexit, groups like UKIP and people like Donald Trump. Those kinds of people just can't handle the fact that they aren't center of the ****ing universe.
