and do you think that if we looked at all the black people who voted on Strictly we may see a pattern emerging there?

No

Just an example. I am not sure you actually understand what racism is though?

If the BBC put a black only sitcom on prime time do you think it would do as well as a very similar white only one?

if both had the same content?

If you think the white one would get more viewers I take it that would be due solely to racism?

In American sitcoms.... this is exactly what would happen and historically has happened.

I think it would happen here as well

The UK doesn't have a great track history of black characters in leading roles

Not really, I can only think of three and all three are full of offensive stereotypes

Jamelia was bottom because a lot of people do not like her personality on Loose Women and there were better dancers

Ever since John Sergeant there's been a reoccurence that the absolute worst is saved by the public for a period of time. The people who fall in the middle and don't garner enough support for being really good or really bad (like Jamelia last year) always find themselves in the bottom 2. I think that's what happened here.

Nobody voted for her!!! . And yeah it's very very perculiar :bored: yeah right i always knew this would happen , and it's soo awful because think back to past eastenders actors/actresses they never left as early as this so it looks bad all round because some previous EE ACTORS have either won or made it much further in the competition .
case in point >>>>>>>>> :suspect:

JAKE WOOD make it to the semi's
KARA TOINTON won ( matt baker was robbed)
KELLIE BRIGHT made it to the final last year ( she was annoying as f)
SCOTT MASLEN got to the semi's (interesting same as his fictional brother )
LETITIA DEAN made it to week 10 or something
JILL HALFPENNY won (overrated IMO )
even PATSY PALMER made it to week 8 or something
LOUISA LYTTON finished in fourth place (i expected her to win with all the hype they made about her )
MATT DI ANGELO came second (he clearly got sympathy vote in certain weeks )
RICKY GROVES lasted a good few weeks
ANITA DOBSON lasted a good while aswell
NATALIE CASSIDY made it to the quarter's i'm sure
Oh and CHRISTOPHER PARKER finished in second place and he was terrible!!!

I'm not saying the public loves every eastender's actor (in series 6 a few got booted off early on and sid owen left early in another series) but the majority seem to be popular hence the list and they always seem to have a huge fan base , so it's ashame Tameka couldn't of gotten support for atleast a few more weeks , i think it's ridiculous

I'm not sure how people can scream racism when Louis Smith and Alesha Dixon have won and Natalie Gumede, Denise Lewis, Simon Webbe, Colin Jackson, Ricky Whittle and Chelsee Healey have reached the final and Martin Offiah came 4th in season 1, Patrick Robinson was like 5th in the season Gumede came 2nd, Sunetra Sarker was 7th I think in a hugely competitive season and Anita Rani was 5th last year wasnt she?

Melvin going 1st was the first time a black contestant has gone first in 15 seasons and he was crap.
