Yes, if she has not been diagnosed by a doctor then its a cold. Flu is a serious illness and requires a doctor. I take it you have been lucky enough not to have had it?

I had it 13 years ago and last November. And, yes, both times required prescriptions from my doctor.

I used to say I had the flu when I had a cold. Then I got the flu. I was so ill that I couldn't get out of bed for over a week. I honestly thought I was dying. I get a flu jab now.

Having a cold during school is awful.

Still get the cold bugs that go around though, rough before Xmas, still ruddy rough after The New Year, spent the first 9 days upstairs, sleeping and coughing and sleeping and coughing and sleeping....

I am fuming, I have a flu again.

November into December is usually my "cold time", never fails.

Drink ginger tea. Add quite a bit of honey in it.

Especially good when having a headache.
