I watched the clip in question and I'm fairly certain he's lying.

If someone did trash his shop, as he said, then why did he not call the police? That alone would have been enough to validate his story but he didn't and he lost the composure he had previously when the host asked him about it which is often a liar's tell. The fact that he was swift to get back on message is telling itself.

He's a chancer that's targetting the gullible demographic who are likely to see this story and believe it without a second thought because it suits their agenda.

Agreed, it is a story to galvanise those who are positively rabid in their quest to find anything that suggests an affront to 'British' culture or values.
These media outlets are playing a very dangerous game ramping up the pressure as when it explodes it will not be pretty, but these instigators will throw their hands up and claim they predicted any clashes.
