I'm not sure if I like any of them...I guess I like Katie, Jadine and Tre. I can't stand Adam and Naomi.
My friends mum is friends with Katie (no lying), but SPOILERS BELOW [spoil] My friend told me that Katie was first to be fired, which is obviously not true, but I'm guessing she doesn't make it very far. Or my friend doesn't know what she's talking about. [/spoil] END SPOILER Admin edited: if you are going to put spoilers use spolier tags. http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...e/bb_spoil.gif |

i meant the first episode not the first series
Anyway was surpised Sophie went I didnt get to see it last night but thought she could have survived a few more weeks at least |
I liked Sophie but she shot herself in the foot when she revealed she didn't like selling products she didn't believe in.

This years lot seem to be a right shower, I really don't know where they found them.
They are so unorganized and have so few leadership skills. It's no wonder the country is in a mess with people like this in business. Most of them I wouldn't even had given the chance to be on the show and poor Sir Alan is going to have to hire one of them. |
I'm enjoying it this year.
Sophie definately sent herself home after that comment. Ruined her completely. |

Sophie got herself fired - not intentionally, but it was obvious he was going to get rid of her after she said that she didn't like selling. Actually I would have preferred that it was the other girl (Natalie?) who had gone. She made the cock up with the labelling, which would have been okay if she had admitted it, but she refused to admit it until she had no choice.
I don't think much of many of them to be honest. Gazel didn't seem to have a clue, and it was sheer luck and bad tactics on the other team which enabled her team to win. I quite like Simon and Tre and that's about it. |
We seem to have similar opinions, Ruth! :spin:
Sophie fired herself after saying that she "wasn't comfortable selling products that she didn't feel were good value for money". Not only does this go against the need of a profit to keep a company going, but also shows that she forgot about the cost of packaging, producing and marketing the sweets, all of which have a major influence over the success of a product. As for the other team, Ghazal was extremely lucky in my opnion, that the other team cocked up on the selling. She would've taken up Sophie's seat in the taxi if the other team had earnt the extra £10. She showed poor leadership, and simply wasn't able to command and control her team. |
Natalie reminds me of Patsy Palmer, a bit... 'Ricky!'

Contestants websites. Some of them have the contestants' diaries about each task, as they are shown...

Great show today! Adam is my fave, I love him!

Im biased though soph he come sfrom blackburn but yeah i like him too
I also like simon as well he seems cool and im starting to like tre too |
One of the most obvious sackings yet. Natalie should have taken Katie into the boardroom but seemed not to because they were friends. SAS was never going to sack Adam when he had actually sold some pictures. Katie also looked to me to be the one most in charge instead of Natalie, but didn't understand the soft sell approach, while applicable in a real art dealer scenario, wasn't appropriate in a one-day task. Adam, despite being called negative, has got a lot of decisions right in the series so far.
£900 - £2000 is an awful lot to pay for a photograph that could be copied thousands of times if necessary. Katie reminds me of Carol Thatcher. That is all. |
Natalie shot herself in the foot by taking Adam back into the boardroom. It was obvious he wasn't going to get the sack, because he did the job he was given, and also made two sales. Natalie let her personal feelings towards Adam make her decision to bring him back in. If she had been objective, she could have taken Katie back in, and I think there's a strong chance that Katie would have been fired.
Actually I find Katie irritating beyond belief. She's not actually that good at anything she does, but she clearly thinks so much of herself that she probably thinks she should be Alan Sugar's boss, rather than the other way around. I like Kristina, Tre (purely for entertainment purposes) and Simon. Don't like Katie. The rest are non-entities really. |
I'm starting to really dislike katie. It's not due to her lack of any tangible skills, but more for the constant comments that she makes behind her fellow contestants backs. That seem quite cowardly to me.
I think if Natalie had taken Katie in to the boardroom, I still think Natalie would have gone. Katie would have sliced her up without hesitating. She's cold blooded. Mark my words. |
I think you're right about Katie. When she said that she hoped Adam would get run over by a car, I thought it was a vile thing to say. She might have meant it as a joke, but I think it showed her true colours. I wouldn't trust her for a second.

I can't stand Katie, she really gets on my nerves, I hope she gets fired soon. |
Katie's comment about wanting Adam to be run over was cold-hearted and far too personal for my liking. Nothing gives her the right to wish someone dead! The funny thing is, her natural ability doesn't live up to all her pontificating! :spin:
Natalie's fate was sealed, like you've said, when she chose Adam, who although negative, had sold well, to return over Katie. I still think Natalie would've gone if Katie was with her, but there would've been a chance for Katie to have been booted out. Natalie was a kind-hearted character, but like SAS said, she was out of her depth. Kristina's team wiped the floor with the others, but I think that was largely down to Kristina, Paul and Tre. At this point in time, I'd put the final three as Kristina, Tre and Simon, with Adam or Paul perhaps coming into the equation. To me though, the first three of those currently appear to be the strongest. I'm already looking forward to Katie's firing, seeing the wind get knocked out of her sails! |
*joins the Katie bandwagon*
OMG did she say that i mean I dont like "some people" but i wouldnt want them dead tut oh and i like tre now too ruth |
Personally, Adam should have been fired IMO. He did manage to sell, but he is very negative and doesn't really add anything.

The decision was right last night , but Adam has been in the boardroom twice so he needs to watch out. |
In reality TV shows there are certain lines that people say, or descriptions about people, that stand out. Katie's line about there being 'energisers' and 'sappers' in life, and that Adam was a 'sapper' has stood out and is now something he will always be known for.
Jadine and Ghazal were hardly featured in that episode by the way. Always a clue that their team won the task when some people aren't featured much. James Max from the first series of The Apprentice writes quite an interesting blog about this series. If you are interested - http://journals.aol.co.uk/jamesmaxbl...prentice-2007/ |
^^Good to see James Max is doing well. I like to see all cast offs from reality TV landing on their feet. Good one James (Max).
