Oh I'm so sorry, lovely that she got to a 100. My great nan died last Summer and just got to 100 as well, it meant so much her getting to 100. I'm sure our nans will meet up in Heaven/paradise looking down on us. :love:

This morning I was in my room getting ready because I was going to help clear her room in the care home taking her belongings back to her house.

On my chest of drawers on the other side of my room I keep my perfume and christmas cards on the top.

I got my card from nan this Sunday from the care home as she went into hospital before christmas.

As I was getting ready the card from nan fell over, I believe this is sign that she is with me. There's no explanation to why it fell, my door, windows, curtains were all closed and her card it was in the middle, it wasn't on the end.

It felt as if she was saying hello.

Such a shame that it was so avoidable, you do hear about horror stories of care homes and things. I suppose you just have to think at least she isn't in any pain anymore, she's at peace.

That's what breaks my heart, to know it was so avoidable and she could easily still be here, that's the only comfort knowing she's not in pain anymore.

It's so irritating because she cared for everyone, she would go down the town at anytime for anyone, she would always get her neighbour her food shopping if she needed something. If I asked her for something, she would be out the door before I had got off the phone. :(

The world really isn't a fair place. :(

I started crying writing it, she was my world. :love:
