He took Jamie to one side with Stacy, it might have been edited down so he might have got out of bed to watch and who could blame him we all watched! but as it escalated he was the only man that stepped in

But Calum isn't the man they all look up to in the house Cherie

Tbf...Kim cannot be reasoned with...it would be a pointless excercise. Even if he told the others to back off Kim would continue to goad... Leave her to it...she brings it on herself.

jennyjuniper 19-01-2017 12:54 PM

I think James C was wise to stay out of it. He knows that BB is watching and wouldn't let any physical harm come to her. I also suspect that he doesn't like Kim much. We haven't seen much of it but he seems to have made friends in the house and he said Kim was wrong to say that no-one liked anyone else (or words to that effect) in the house.
I do feel that Kim is the type to turn on people who are trying to help her and that's why Ithink he did the right thing in staying out of it.

Beso 19-01-2017 12:55 PM

I did say to you all that he is just a gossiping bitch.

smudgie 19-01-2017 01:52 PM

Had James C tried to intervene, Kim would have no doubt turned on him as well, then he would also be accused of being ganghanded.
The wisest thing to do when the barmy bint starts is to just ignore her..totally.

Fosse 19-01-2017 02:53 PM

There would be no point in coming to Kim's defence; the same situations will crop up continuously as long as Kim is in the house.

So what that she is 74; she deliberately provokes people.

Stop talking ****e. He probably did the most sensible thing in that situation and not get involved. Why is it up to him to stick up for Kim, when in actual fact I don't think he even cares for her that much??

Northern Monkey 19-01-2017 04:18 PM

Kim gets herself into these situations and I believe she does it all on purpose. She's enjoying riling them all up.James C does right not to get sucked in by it.Everyone can see what she's doing.

I think Kim is the last one who needed anyone backing her up.

She can hold her own better than anyone Tbf.

Why are you so obsessed with men having to be the ones that defend people, or step in to resolve conflict? that isn't the primary purpose of every man's existence

More to the point, why would you even want him to dissolve what was a hysterical argument? I mean it'd be great TV if he actually got involved for once, but he isn't obliged to in any way, shape or form

There is coasting tot he final and then there is being oblivious to your surroundings. He is respected by others (though they still all nom him ) and he could have helped calm that situation.

I also lost respect for him by refusing to wear the costume for the task. They can all bathe in cold water as long as I don't have to wear lycra. Spoiled brat of a man.

This is what I dont get in general there is this image of JC which most people have which is not coming across to me. I was going to say about the costume thing mainly, surely hes seen the programme before and understands what they ask of housemates and tbh its one of the least taxing tasks they asked of housemates, love jedwards whole reaction to it they are having a blast with it!

This and everything else you said Nancy. I would have more respect for nicola if she was as honest to kims face as she was behind her back bitching to james j. Her whole "you have made nice people cry in here" she cant be talking about herself surely. BE A WOMAN AND PICK A SIDE NICOLA! Dont talk the talk if you're not gonna walk the walk. As much as i do think kim oversteps the line at times nicola isnt some innocent bystanding housemate like people are making out, she is stirring the pot (like when she said to stacy not to tell kim about the argument in front of kim because "she doesnt need to know" like kim wasnt there or needs to be instructed on what she can and cant hear)

I was unaware JC is all men ever in existence.

This, it's not as if the housemates were picking on Kim or anything and she needed defending. I really don't see why he would have been expected to get involved.

I see we're entering the "find silly faults" part of the season.
