The point is people with current passports shouldn't have to change until they are due to expire or unless they really want to and are willing to pay? I think it will be easy enough for customs officials to direct UK citizens with EU passports to the non EU queue in 2 years time rather than wasting money renewing them?

You just made a post questioning why it was happening when a majority of the public don't want it. Nothing about cost.

That means for your first passport as an adult to have been blue, you would have to have been born before 1970.

Or in other words; you would have to be at least 47 now.

Well there is a reason beyond the passports so they do.

We wont be adopting the green because we are not an Arabic country and i doubt will will go for black as few countries have it.
