Book/Cook/Brook/Shook/Hook etc (almost any word ending with “ook”)

Is pronounced with a uck sound x

E.g Buck, Cuck, Bruck, Shuck, Huck

Has anyone got any audio or video evidence of book being pronounced 'buck'? I've never heard of such a thing.

Nobody pronounces them cuck or buck. They pronounce them cook and book rather than cewk and bewk :suspect:
