Horrible people but facebook is always full of nasty comments like this, it was even worse when Kellie Maloney was in, some of the things posted were actually frighteningly cruel.

You lose your freedom of speech on Facebook the second you agree to the terms & conditions. Don't get it twisted, there's no place for hate speech.

the abuse of some TiBB members are taking is vile too.. I am talking members posting ugly comments about HMs.. Tibb members defend those HMs and certain Tibb members making personal comments about members in a vain attempt to get their trolling points across...where is the post about that? :(

freedom of speech does not protect you from the consequences of saying stupid ****! nor is it a licence to abuse!

And neither is a youthful arrogance to think that "being right" and amid similar held views gives you a right to be abusive...

Correction, that's all you chose to see.

Nothing justifies the way Lotan treated her, you don't respond to a low blow by going lower and then claim the moral high ground. If he was in any way a decent human being he would have risen above it but he used it as justification to show himself to be a repugnant human being.

Being abusive is something that's only reserved for older people then? You don't seem to be in such a hurry to criticise these apparently older and wiser on facebook for their comments but you'll certainly come for people who comment on the abuse?

If you believe that the abuse on facebook is fine then you can't really fault the response. That's picking and choosing.

Agreed. If you call someone a 'creature' you can't expect to not receive any backlash for it

If the worse thing someone in India's position is called is a 'creature', then I reckon she's woman enough to handle that.

Beso 04-01-2018 01:54 PM

I get worse daily.

But, if you're going to class one side's perspective as freedom of speech then you can't make out that it's any better or worse on the other side because of their age. As I've said since the beginning of the topic, freedom of speech works both ways.

The dogs bark, the caravan will go on.

It's twitter, not mensa - let's put them and it in the right perspective.
