Looks like rawhide  I never "got" that costume... and I usually can grasp some pretty weird things. (Btw, she's preemptively flipping us off in this photo which says "Don't judge me")

most young females these days are copying the drag queen thing, fish lips, cheek implants, false eyelashes, ridiculous amount of hair extensions, and for some reason girls dress just like drag queens these days, its not just celeb women but look at the girls from geordie shore and ex on the beach, the surgery has made them look less of having a feminine face, they look more like one of rupaul's drag dancers, same with katie price, she looks more like a man these days with the surgery she has had.

It’s weird - I don’t get how they can’t see that it really isn’t a good look. The power of group think - leads to the convenient loss of vision and faculties. Puppets on a string.

I doubt they copy drag queens. My guess is they're going for a blow-up doll look. Probably deluded cows think that's what men want

Is that Kardashian's arse real? Is it Kim or whatshername. That arse looks grotesque.

It wasnt homophobic, it was descriptive

Drag acts dress for effect, they welcome critiques or they wouldnt dress so outrageous.

Also, they can hide behind these outfits and become whoever they want, the real person isn't the one being criticized.

Agree about the arse and the Kardashians in general. Grotesque. I think the one with the arse is Chloe who lives off her sister’s glamour model fame which is even worse. A trumped-up nobody in every sense of the word.

Come off it. Double standards much? Something against ShaneJ - descriptive, something against Ann - insulting.
And there you were pontificating to me and calling for moderation on the other thread only a moment ago.

To be fair, the aspects of ShaneJ's appearance were all choices, he could just as easily not have done his makeup and clothes like that, while it wouldn't be so easy for Ann to change her body.

It makes a huge difference, just as people say you can’t change your skin colour, you can’t change your sex, that one no longer applies apparently you also cannot change your age. Shane can absolutely change how he looks - it is complete choice. So his comment was definitely ageist.

Try reading the whole post. I explained further.

Have I stepped on a nerve? I was not the only person with that sentiment.

I always wonder when those with siliconed filled boobs and butts leave their mortal coil.

What will happened if they are cremated. They will set the place alight, hot fat everywhere. Dangerous.

Your question suggests you would like to know the answer. Google the origins and aesthetic aims of drag artists.
But the gist is that drag is meant to be an exeggeration of various iconic female looks (e.g diva, 50s housewife, disco queen, 60's chick, etc etc).
Over time it diversified and now drag queens adopt different takes on it. E.g. some go for a relatively slight exeggeration like Courtney or RuPaul, others go the traditional route and look like a caricature of a woman like Bianca Del Rio. And there are some that go completely off the beaten track and look more like aliens.

edited to add:
And no, they don't think women are trashy. The opposite, they adore women. They support women's rights and are in awe of women generally.

Twosugars 04-02-2018 06:00 PM

And to add further to my previous post:
the equivalent movement amongst lesbians to dress as men as a performance act (i.e not everyday life) never taken off equally strongly as male drag. There are some lesbians who dress and perform as Elvis tribute acts, but that's it afaik, although I may be wrong.

Slight exaggeration like having his genitalia up his wotsits covered in tape, wearing no underwear and deliberately showing it to the viewing public.

Slight exaggeration.

Attention-seeking before he even entered the house. His plan was to make the show all about him. He knew his audience and managed it - but only just. An elderly, old-fashioned woman very nearly pipped him to the post. :hehe:

No, of course not all women are trashy but some are. As a Gay Man myself I love drag shows and the special humour in the shows. Really brutal stuff.
